This time I have the craziest "country" of Primera in my hands - Benelux . Benelux is supposed to be a combined nation of two countries - Belgium and Netherlands. We'll see how it's gonna work out but right now we can see how the "president" of this "country" sees the project.
EDIT: Welcome Bangladesh, another country I could interview some day!
1. Welcome kefkef1 , president of something called Benelux! 1. Haha, thank you. Glad to be here.
2. So what IS Benelux? 2. Well there has always been a special bond between the Netherlands and Belgium, for example our common language. We like each other a lot and because we are both rather small countries we decided to join forces and have common goals to really mean something in e-sim.
3. But what would be the point of combining 2 countries and how it's gonna work? 3. Well being 2 small nations isn't really something alliances need, but combined we could really help out so it is interesting for both ourselves and our allies, at this point we are negotiating how we can make our economy and military power unite so both countries will grow into 1 big nation. We are not aiming to become the greatest power on e-sim, but we would like to have some influence
4. Who came up with the idea and how are you going to make it into reality? Do the people of Netherlands and Belgium approve the idea? 4. Euhm we already had a common irc channel #slowlands so we were already close, and a few months ago we were both getting really bored of our 'neutral' status, so that's when we came together and decided to attack the UK, and i think back then was the first time we started speaking of working together as 1 nation and divide the income of North Eastern England. I think that the people of Belgium and the Netherlands approve, i haven't heard a single complaint in articles or on IRC, and i think they can all see this could be the beginning of a new power on E-sim. But like i said there is still a lot of work to and we are not nearly finished, but both governments are enthusiastic so i have good hopes
5. Aprox how long time is there until the end of the project and how have you become the "president" of it? 5. Well i am hoping it will be finished as soon as possible, at this time we are fighting for our freedom, and thanks to our good allies from MP (especially Poland, Lithuania and the USA) we are succeeding so far. Once we are free we should be getting some more money again, and then we can start by buying a new mu and spend allot of money in it so we can have a good supply system, so as you can see it will take some time, but i hope over the next term or 2 to be completely finished.
And as for how i became Prince-Regent of the Benelux, we first had a meeting where we decided that our leader should be elected by the CP, vCP, MoD and MoFA of each country, and they elected me. then we continued on debating the name of our 'leader' and i voted for something else, but they voted for Prince-Regent and i wear the title with proud.
6. You shouldn't, Prince-Regent is an utterly dumb name. What does a person of such title have to manage anyways? 6. Hahah i have heard that everywhere but i don't care what the people say about it, indeed i could have said that i wanted an other name, but we are a democracy and i will live by those rules. and my responsibilities are that i need to arrange meetings and that i have the final decision after consulting with my HQ and both governments, so a bit like a supreme commander from an alliance but with an original name, the same way as our union is original and 1 of a kind in e-sim.
7. Who are the enemies and allies of the newly formed country? 7. Our most important enemies are France and the UK who still have most of our regions, and of course they have their allies so we have quite a few enemies, luckily for us we have a lot of allies too. Magnum Pactum of course where we were invited by our good friends the USA, Lith and PL like i said earlier but we have some friends outside the alliance too, for example Brazil and even Ireland. We also have a good relationship with Macedonia due to the fact that there are a lot of Macedonians in Belgium, though this is less now that we allied with Greece..
8. I believe that's enough of Benelux... Thanks and good luck! 8. Thank you too, and have a good day.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
