This is my 4th interview in the series, hopefully people have already gotten decently used to them. This time it's the CP of what I believe to be one of the most interesting countries because of factors like - it's big, it's conquered by Lithuania, it's one of the biggest countries of Phoenix and most importantly.... IT'S SWEDEN.

1. Welcome to the interview, SMTaishan , CP of Sweden!
1. Thank you. Glad to be here!

2. Sweden is one of the biggest countries in e-Sim, at least in Top 10 in every game statistic (except productivity since you have no regions), Top 5 in several. You're also the biggest country of Phoenix, an alliance that is near equal in power to it's biggest enemy G7. So how did you manage to get yourselves conquered? I know there's different versions of it depending on which country to ask so I just want your version.
2. Well, there are many theories as you say to why Sweden got conquered, but mainly I think lithuania was bored. We didn't put up enough of a fight to stop them, so they just kept on going. Sweden might look big on the statistics, but our Military Units are still under developed compared to many other countries. A big part of the reason we got conquered aswell is simply that we are neighbours to the two biggest countries in the game, and with them teaming up they don't really have many other places to go.

3. How are your economics? You have no tax income due to being fully conquered but you are still fighting for your homeland. So where do you get the cash for keeping an open war and for running the country?
3. We don't really. A year ago before Swedens first real babyboom we were in the same situation. (by the way, I turn 1 year on day 585!!) Lithuania had occupied Sweden for months and the state was completely skint. Individual players had to contribute by gold donations to the state. The governments of Sweden since then has had a goal to never get in that situation again, where the state cannot afford to start Resistance Wars. Over the months that followed we gradually built up our economy, which is what we are living on now.

4. Very-very happy upcoming b-day to you then. If it's not a state secret, how much of this gold reserve have you left? No need for exact numbers but for how long time can you keep being a pain in the a*s of Lithuania and will you ever bankrupt if this keeps going on like this? (I'm sure G7 wants to know it too but they're too polite to ask themselves so I do it for them)
4. Thank you =) well, I would prefer to not answer that. In real life, the Supreme Commander of the Swedish Armed Forces called Sverker Göranson.. He made a casual statement that Sweden wouldn't last a week on our own if Russia decided to invade. I mean sure, it is pretty obvious that would be the case. But still, it isn't something a Supreme Commander should publicly say.

5. Your SC sure made it Global (in rl). In e-Sim though, which countries are you co-operating most in war against Lithuania? Lithuania has conquered many countries, not all of them Phoenix, so do you have a disciplined system with other conquered countries to free your homelands?
5. The main issue I think is that Phoenix in my eyes basically formed in a desperate need to try and survive against G7, so pretty much anyone who was against them got accepted. That might not be the case as I wasn't part of the government then, but it is how I see it. That said, it is naturally way harder to get many smaller countries to cooperate than few larger.
It is problematic for us to co-operate with other countries because Sweden is a very ungrateful ally. Meaning we need lots of help in battles and are right now not able to give much help back. Lately we have recieved help from allies like Slovenia, Greece, Israel, Iran, Ukraine, Finland and Russia among others.
It hasn't been enough but we will continue to try and get more help. At least other colonies of Lithuania definitely share the same goal to be free.

6. Besides the war do you have different issues? Are there or have there been PTO attmepts or MM attacks? Any PTO party/MU in your country right now?
Nah, Sweden has a large enough playerbase to make life tough for PTOers. About the monetary market, as long as the MoF is paying attention any MM attacks really just provides income to the state, so no. No top 5 PTO party either and the MUs are mostly fighting.
Basically the country is functioning rather well compared to many others. The only thing that comes to mind is that quite few swedes are interested in the nations politics. They might be interested but not enough to participate themselves, so the swedish congress and government could use some improvements there.

7. You got re-elected as the CP of Sweden just a few days ago. Who were your opponents and what, do you think, gained you the victory? Also, how many times have you been the CP of Sweden?
7. This is the third time I'm CP of Sweden. What made me win this election is simply that the other two candidates were new players who were not yet very known in Sweden. Basically I was the lesser of three evils.

8. Who are the Swedish government members and which people would you thank most for helping you in the CP months?
8. Essentially it has been a Bengto-style dictatorship until now (inside joke in Sweden). I have been running things on my own with very little help which is crazy in itself. Remember what I said about few swedes interested enough to do something in the politics.
Now people are starting to understand though that I can't do everything on my own, and some relatively new interested players have become part of the government. Players like Heff , interfusion and woaini among others have offered to help. A few important positions are still vacant so I'm filling in on them myself for now.

9. Now the question that I ask almost everyone I interview – how many citizens does your country have, how many of them are original and approximately how many are PTOers and helpful foreigners.
The amount of swedes who have been playing for a month or longer are about 400 players. Many of those are simply 2clickers. A rough estimate is that 370 of those 400 are swedish players, 20 are helpful foreigners of which most are from Finland, and then there might be 10 PTOers maybe. Obviously we need more Swedish players.

10. I ended my last interview with a line ''And on this bombshell, it's time to finish.'' I'm ashamed to admit but this line was stolen from Jeremy Clarcson . But as an apology I would like to propose a new ending line to my interviews (this time my original) – ''Pink penguin 8 o'clock, hasta la vista!'' And on this bombshell, it's time to finish! Thank you SMTaishan !
10. Haha, Top Gear is one of my favourite shows. Thank you for the interview!

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
