VERSIONE ITALIANA

Many peoples connect to the chat (How to: Register your nickname ) using the web client Mibbit . Often, it cause problems of high ping and disconnection due to its precarious stability.

With this guide, I would like to introduce you to a valid and excellent alternative, a very light software that lets you connect to your favorite chat with absolute reliability and speed: HexChat!

First of all, download the version compatible with our OS . If not sure which version to download, click on Start → Run and type dxdiag. This will open a window where you can see if your operating system is 64-bit or 86-bit

Once you downloaded the program, install it normally, then open it and click on Settings → Preferences and select the English language, then configure the various menus as follows:

Then press OK to confirm change settings.

Now we are ready to configure the servers and the corresponding channels. Click then on HexChat → Network List

It will open a window in which we should choose the server to whom connect (in our case only Rizon). To do this, we need to scroll the list of existing servers to select Rizon and then click on Favor so you do not have to select any time in the future. Now, mark both options below, like in figure

then click Edit ... to configure login parameters

In the second screen you can enter the list of channels to be accessed automatically at startup (autojoin)

in the last screen you can enter any useful commands to be executed automatically when connecting to the server.

I put in, the comand of self-ghost: when the connection drops, there is the possibility that your user remains virtually connected and is called ghost. The first command "kills" the ghost, while the second command changes the nick replacement automatically assigned (the one configured in first screen) registered in my name, and software can identify themselves immediately afterwards.

The following commands are used for automatically remove the ban from the channels with restricted access (such as #ewar) in case you have OP status in the channel: Ignore the last 4 commands if you don't have OP in any restricted channels

Now click on Close and restart the program to automatically connect to Rizon and all your favorite channels!

EXTRA OPTIONS

When you join a new channel and you want to add it to autojoin list (or if you want to remove one of them) without having to go back on the settings, you can join the channel and right-click on the name and mark Autojoin

A user bothers you with his presence? Is hassling you via private message (query)? Ignore him!
Right-clicking on his nickname then click Ignore, you can solve your problems once and forever!

This command, however, will ignore him altogether. To choose which actions against you ingnore you'll have to change the dedicated options

Want you know how much delay (lag) you have? Click on View → Network Meters → Text and it will displayed in the lower right of user list.

Are you confused by colored dots next to the nicknames? It's easy:

Orange: Founder/Owner. Is the House, on Mibbit;
Yellow: Admin. Is the Key, on Mibbit;
Green: OP. Is the Star, on Mibbit;
Light Blue: HOP. Is the Half Star, on Mibbit;
Blue: Voice. Is the Speaker, on Mibbit;

Let me concluding this article reminding that you can configure IRC even on Android, following this other guide written by me for the App AndChat (it's totally free!)

For each doubt or question you can meet me on #LordKas @ Rizon ^_^

Damon Mortis

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.

Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
