Battles are an important part of daily life in e-Sim. Much of the economy is driven by producing and consuming war supplies, and in turn conquest of valuable regions can make or break a country’s finances. Most importantly, winning is fun.
Food and gifts can restore your health and allow you to fight in more battles each day. At the daily server reset (6:00 PM ET / 3 PT) you get 50 health back, so if you want to fight more than 5 times each day, you’ll need food and gifts. Fighting costs 10 health points, and you get ten health points back for every quality star of the gifts or food you consume, so 1 star = 1 fight. You are limited in how much you can consume each day, so getting the highest quality food and gifts is important if you want to maximize your number of fights.
The next thing you should have is a weapon. You get a 20% bonus for each quality star on the weapons you use, meaning you will get +20% with a Q1 weapon, +60% with a Q3, and +100% with a Q5. On the flip side, if you have no weapon at all, you get a -50% penalty, so you can see why having even a Q1 is so much better than nothing. Q1 weapons are pretty cheap on the US market so they are probably the best thing to spend your wages on. Higher quality weapons don’t have the same return on investment and shouldn’t be on your shopping list unless you are a high-ranking hitter or going for the Battle Hero medal. The government also hands out weapons and other supplies in IRC for important battles.
To fight in a battle, you first need to be in the right place. Battles are only open to people residing in the two countries involved in the fight, plus any allies who have signed a Mutual Protection Pact (MPP). In a Resistance War, only residents of the country occupying the region can fight and MPPs are not activated. This means that to fight you will probably have to travel. That’s okay because if you are in the region being attacked (or bordering it, if you are attacking), you get a 20% bonus on your damage. You should always try to be in a “bonus region” if possible when you fight. The DOD Orders article will usually include the bonus region with the battle orders, but if you want to see for yourself which regions border a territory you are attacking, you can always check out the game map. You’ll need a moving ticket to change locations: Q1 charges 40 health, Q5 charges none. The IRC strikes channel distributes tickets for important battles with your food and weapons.
Once you have all of your supplies and are in the right place, timing is everything. Each round lasts 2 hours and fighting at the end of the round is the right time to fight. If you fight too soon, you might end up wasting damage in a battle that isn’t very close. It also lets our enemies know just how much damage they need at the end to win – savings ours until the last second keeps that information secret. You don’t actually want to wait until the literal last second, because then you won’t have time to click the button, but fighting with less than 5 minutes to go (aka T-5) is usually sufficient.
So, to recap: You have your food and gifts, hopefully Q5, to let you fight a whole bunch of times. You have your weapons to do a lot of damage. You are in the right location to access the battle and boost your damage even more. Now it’s time to fight. There are two buttons: “fight,” and “berserk.” The first will do just 1 hit, costing 10 health, while a berserk does 5 hits in a single click at a cost of 50 health. There really isn’t a reason to use “fight” over “berserk” unless you have low quality food/gifts and need to do less damage to end at 50 health (since you gain 50 at server reset). If you’re fighting in a resistance war, make sure to click on the correct buttons and fight for the right team, since both countries can fight from the same location.
Now you know the basics of fighting in e-Sim. Make sure to stay tuned to the DOD Orders newspaper to find out where your fights are needed and join us on the IRC Strikes channel for up-to-the-minute battle orders and free supplies.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
