This idea is not new at all, although i admit 99.9% of you probably hear about it from me for the first time.

I think it was over a year ago (year and a month, 2 months - who cares) when somebody in the Lithuanian government (whatever it was back then) said to me something like "you know Orl, after you've done with that whole CP-career, you should really come to Lithuania". You see, back then (and i'm sure my fellow Estonians - at least the older ones - remember this all very well) i was posing as somekind of an "sim-politician" and was probably at the midst of my 3rd or 4th presidential term. Estonia was a friend of Lithuania so I had many friends in Lithuania, hence the invitation. And now, FINALLY, i can say - HERE I AM (want me or not)! But that's whole different story, namely the topic of our next and 2nd addition to my "travel journal". I'm not gonna expect it to be some kind of "hit" so even if it's failure i will still continue doing it simply for the sake of personal fun).

Today i'm talking about Ireland where i spent my last 3 months (i was planning to stay for a month but i just got such a kick out of those god funny people there that i simply didn't have the discipline to leave the country on time).

As soon as i was accepted to Ireland by their current president nicmau (great guy, recently won his 1st term) i immediately started getting messages like "why is your flag suddenly so weird?" (never something like "Why did you leave Estonia?" though. Okay, i'm lying a bit here, there WAS a couple of Estonians that "pretended" to miss me, too. Anyways, if those people are reading then i must confess that i eventually started sending you copy-paste answers. Kidding of course... or AM i. ).
It was pretty annoying to tell you the truth because i get bunch of messages on bunch of different topics from bunch of different guys every day which eventually just adds up to over 30 letters daily for me to answer. And now that i've left Ireland i'm obviously getting a few of these same questions about Lithuania and its flag. So now that you know WHY i'm switching my CSs like that you won't have to inquire me about it every second of a day.

I'm starting my story on Ireland with a classical spoiler - Irish are the warmest and most welcoming nation, and I literally have no complaints to them. They greet you, they praise you, they try to kill you when you're asleep and when you eventually leave the country - they couldn't care less! What more can one want!?

For me it was surprising to find out that people that i imagined would occupy at least half of country's population - Liam Neeson and Conan O'brien - aren't even PLAYING this game!!!

However, Ireland's got some other pretty decent fellas nevertheless. They're not rich or famous in real life buuut... they'll do. I'll get to them later and I intend to forget some.

Another thing that I didn't know before joining that freaking land was that e-sim Ireland actually means 2 nations, 1 more than the other - Irish and Spanish - living and working in harmony. Both Irish and Spanish people insisted that it wasn't PTO, that they're all Irish and who the hell speaks Irish ANYWAY! I soon came to realize the same thing myself. They might not speak perfect Irish (or English) but in their hearts they're true leprechauns.

What else... When serving as the president of Estonia i felt it pretty difficult to convince people to give a couple of congress golds to the government. We had some pretty good trolls who managed to make efficient counter-propaganda so eventually i was just forced to make the whole thing optional - you either want to give 2 golds and help the country or you... don't. Well, in Ireland it's elementary that congress-winning candidates give all of their 5 golds away. For me that looks perfect - in my opinion if there's less than 30 candidates in congress elections then the "lucky" winners SHOULD send their gold to the country, at least most of it. That 5g is meant as a prize from people to 20 chosen citizens they value the most. If 2 people vote for you then it's not people's trust that got you into congress - it's the trust of yourself and your multibrother. Besides, a country with 30 candidates can't be THAT well-off to say no thanks to some extra income.

What i really loved about being in Ireland (and also why i didn't want to leave them) is that they're all a bunch of comedians cracking jokes 24/7. Federico Rosenfeld , Viktor Kurgan , Puskis and MartinnSidk (whom i forgot to add here, who reminded me of that and whom i later edited so now you can all read his name and almost a sentence worth of extra text) - they just spam the shouts and congress with absurd jokes all the time/every time (literally like 4 o'clock in the morning). I really came to love that, it felt really like... home. My brain sort of works in the same routine i guess.

Also, i need to mention the guy that i probably interacted with the least - DUB . I don't really know him or have anything to say about him but for Irish he seems to be like a national hero. I'm sure he's a pretty awesome guy, he did some stats for Irish people while i was there (which was actually a bad timing because now i'll forever be in those Irish stats - some random Orlandio who's not even Irish and only had the CS for some 3 months suddenly ruins the stats for everyone).

I suppose the wall of text is probably long enough by now which means it's time to wrap the whole thing up. If you got to this point with your reading... well done! If you didn't... ehh, just:

I'm obviously kidding, this would be a suicide. This is what i really (kinnnnda) mean:

Btw, can anyone explain to me: what's up with all those keep calm pics??

Cheers mates (and imagine that with irish accent would ya... "mates"

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
