In real life Italy is the country of football and spaghetti. Here they are an extremely controversial country, with some people blaming them for changing alliances way too often. I've talked to their president once before, back whenDamon Mortis was the chosen one and alliances like G7 and Phoenix were rocking and rolling. I took a leap of faith hoping something has changed during that year, so i talked to their current president
Mr_White who told me about their goals on the alliance front (not Opposing Front though) and where the country is headed. Enjoy!

1. Hi
Orlandio it is a pleasure to talk with you.
2. Let's skip the introduction and jump to the big question. In this land of falling and raising alliances, where does Italy stand right now and where do you see yourselves in one month?
2. Ok, we all know what happened one or two weeks ago when the two biggest alliances in this game stopped to exist. At that point i was still in Norway but without any charge in the government, i was having a little holiday from gov job.
acido75 and his team worked to give Italy a strong ally. This ally is ID.
Some people, italians and not, say that this ally is too big and strong - and i won't lie, we are pretty strong. As in the past with certain big alliances who have broken up for stupid fights in HQ or between some players (not saying
Damon Mortis 
), ID could break up as some people are saying, but i don't think so. This month we can do well, helping each other etc and i quite enjoy spending my time in HQ because it's active and we make jokes and other stupid stuff to strengthen our ties (it was a long time from last time i was in a HQ always updated and with nice people in chat).
3. Tell me about your experiences with other alliances as well as being a CP.
3. Don't remember all the allies, because of my bad memory or simply because of my others jobs in government or for the people. Some HQs didn't impress me enough to deserve to be remembered. On my past experiences I haven't always found a good HQ, due to certain people. But I can tell you that from the strongest or weakest i always learned something.
4. Your country recently went and is going through a babyboom. How many citizens do you expect to stay and what are you & your government doing to ensure that they will?
4. For my experience in the past if 1000 people join this game for the first time only 100 or even less of them stays to play, also because a lot of multifakers take advantages of BB. We always give a hand to newbies giving them food and weapons to fight for the first period, we have good excellent guides etc but the very challenge is to bring them here in IRC chat to meet all of us and let them know that this game isn't only Train-Work and Fight... We always try to explain why we like this game and why we're still playing after 2-3 years.
5. So when did you first become CP and what has the experience thought you? Will you be candidating more in the future?
5. I became CP for the first time in January of this year, but to be honest i tried in August 2013 but didn't lost with 50 votes to
trinitypain .
, and i was quite sure i'd win because i was contributing in the government a lot and I knew almost all of the work to be done. But i would like to thanks 4 players who helped me: 
el_cid , 
Zampagna88 , acido75 and Damon Mortis because those 4 helped me a lot from the beginning and they still giving me advices when i need them. Being president is hard only if you don't have a good team and luckily i had one of the best in game.
For the future i don't know if i will be CP again, at least i don't don't think so, it's right that new players should have their chance to be CP in gorv and for Italy i can see a nice future with two possible CPs after summer.
6. There's people and countries that claim Italy has betrayed them in the past and escaped some alliances when they start losing battles etc. What do you say to that and is there truth in it?
6. Unfortunately there's some truth, in past we got out from some alliances but not because we are betrayers! We always give 100% to our allies but in the past in some of them we were only fighting for some countries without receiving back any support.
They also say that we are betrayers because we don't help friends but for my point of view Italy has only two historical friends (and we have always helped them) and just good relations with the others. If people don't know things or they just want to flame i can give them
Damon Mortis 's phone number.
7. I've gotta ask though - who are the two historical friends?
7. For me and the old players France and Greece have always been very good friends, we haven't been is the same ally during those years but always helped each others. I remember many times we had to argue in HQ because Italy didn't want to support ally against Greece or France and think they did the same.
8. How's the political situation in Italy? You talk about
Damon Mortis , is he in the "opposition"?
8. Our political situation is quite good. I know Damon since i started to play, we don't agree on everything but his not against me if this is what you were asking.
9. Who are Italy's enemies and how come you've conquered Germany and half of Switzerland?
9. We conquered Switzerland hmmm 6 months ago or maybe more and the reason we don't conquer all is that we had an agreement to letting them have some regions back because we don't need them.
We started a war with Germany because they didn't respect an agreement and while we were at war against Croatia they attacked us and rightly
acido75 wanted to return the favor.
Our enemies are the countries who aren't in ID.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
