World champions Bayern Munich to face Real Madrid.
Really, it's the best semi final that the world has seen in a while
Atletico Madrid lie on top of La Liga, and are in the semi finals after slaying the former world champions Barcelona. Very few people would have predicted this team in the Semis, yet they remain favorites to reach the final now. They are driven by Thibaut Courtois, on loan from Chelsea, from the back and spearheaded in attack by the free-scoring Diego Costa. They possess all the quality to possibly win the Double.
Chelsea, under Jose Mourinho, are second in a very competitive EPL. By far, their star player is the Belgian wonderkid Eden Hazard. They haven't been the most consistent team out there, with losses to Stoke and Crystal Palace, but they are able to win when needed the most. Chelsea can trust their veteran keeper Petr Cech in goal, and John Terry to clean up any attacks that come their way. Then they have a star studded midfield, with players like Matic, Hazard, Willian, Oscar, and Schürrle impressing. However their biggest problem lies within the strike force. Samuel Eto'o has been their best performer there so far, but at an old age of 33 he can't do everything at once. Torres has still been a shadow of himself, and Ba has been hidden for most parts of the season. If Chelsea want to do well their strike force will have to step up significantly.
Prediction: Atletico Madrid to advance to finals. The last time they met Atletico made it a night to remember in a 4-1 victory in the UEFA Super Cup. On that day current Monaco player Falcao scored a hat-trick, but Diego Costa is just as capable as a forward. Madrid have been very consistent with results and have masterminded giant killings, so winning over Chelsea is completely possible. Courtois has been cleared to play against his parent club by UEFA.
Bayern Munich. Pretty much the best team in the world at the moment. Best keeper. World class mid. An amazing forward. Bayern's weak point is their defense, but most of the time they were able to deal with whatever problems they had. That is, until very recently. Two successive losses in the Bundesliga, including an embarrassing derby loss to Dortmund, derailed their attempt at an undefeated league season. If things keep going this way it could get very sour for Guardiola and co.
Real Madrid has been excellent, and have done well in what is now a two horse race for the La Liga title. Ronaldo won a very deserving Ballon d'Or, beating out Leo Messi for it. Iker Casillas is the starting keeper for CL matches, and his experience can prove to be vital against Munich. Their defense is pretty darn good; Marcelo, Ramos, Pepe, Varane. Their mid is just as good as Bayern's, they have an endless pit of mids with Isco, Illaramendi, di Maria, Bale, and Modric. The forward line is magnificent. Led by Ronaldo, they are a fearsome attacking force. There's also Benzema, who's been pretty good so far this season. There's also the two up and coming forwards Morata and Jese. Those two can score goals too, and their ambition and hunger for goals may be useful too.
Prediction: Real Madrid to the final. I can see them winning the home leg against Munich, and holding out in the away leg. Everything can change though if Ronaldo doesn't recover in time, though the same can be said if Neuer doesn't recover in time. Real Madrid has the extra edge in them to overcome a big hurdle, and if Munich don't arrest their dip in form they may crash out.
Regardless of who progresses, it will be a fantastic final.

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
