Here I am going to discuss about how I calculate before opening my business. Someone has asked me about Q1 weapon company in Serbia (is it profitable on not?). I will take Serbia as an example here.

Opening a company takes 20 Gold . Rather it is better to find companies that are offered for sell on the market which is cheaper (14-19 gold). But it must be on a HIGH region if it is a RAW company or it should be in a country that has or occupies a HIGH region.

It is very import to analyze 3 markets (product, job, money) and the TAX system before starting a business in a country.

[Note: Unless you are really desperate; never buy local currency (LC) directly from LC market rather put the smallest sell offer on the Gold market if you need LC. Same goes if you need Gold . Just put a sell offer on LC market rather than buying Gold directly.]

On IRC #strade channel you can easily sell your weapons @0.0215 Gold which if you sell for RSD you get 0.0215 x 20.3896 = 0.4384 RSD . Let's see how much you get if you sell your weapons on local market. But first you must see the TAX rates of the country.

Serbian Law says VAT - 5%, Import TAX - 12%, income tax - 15%
VAT is something every seller (both local and foreign citizens) must pay. Import tax is only for foreign citizens. Income tax is taken from worker out of their salary. So if you sell your weapons in Serbian market you will have to pay 5%+12% = 17% TAX.

Which means a good price for you to sell weapons at Serbian local market is 0.4384 = X(83%)
{0.4384 RSD /(100%-17%)} = 0.4384 RSD /0.83 = 0.5282 RSD
Let see if it matches the local product market.

Lowest offer on local market is 0.43 RSD which means it is not profitable to sell Q1 weapons on local market of Serbia. So it is better to sell on IRC channel #strade for Gold price.
More important than high price of your produced product at local market is the easy access of cheap raw materials. If you can buy cheap raw materials from local market then making profit becomes easier. #strade rate for Iron is 0.0047-0.0050 Gold which is equivalent to 0.0958-0.1019 RSD .
Anything less than 0.1 RSD is a good price for Iron. Serbian market local price is 0.1 RSD so it is a good market you can say. However, to buy products you have to be in that country. If you plan to stay in another country while running your company check the Iron price on that local market.
[Note: You can sell anything to anywhere in the e-world without traveling but you can only buy from the country you are staying. If you can sell weapon, buy iron and stay in on the same country, it is a huge advantage because then you only deal with one currency. If you stay and buy iron from Serbia and sell weapon to USA, you will have to spend in RSD and earn in USD so you need to depend more on money market.]
If you are smart enough to buy Iron and sell Weapon on #strade via personal CONTRACTS then you don't need to worry about Money Market, Local Product Market or TAXes. Only thing you need is fair amount of workers working in cheap rates.

Let's set Skill level 4 as you standard Job offers. Currently best job offer in Serbia is 15.11 RSD . If you recruit 5 workers in your company all of Skill 4, your average productivity would be 104. Which means Each worker would use 104 Iron to produce 52 Q1 Weapons.
If we consider Iron price to be 0.0048 Gold then 104 iron would cost 0.4992 Gold .
Salary 15.11 RSD = 15.11/20.3896 = 0.741 Gold .

e-sim Company Calculator
Total cost for producing 52 Weapons is 0.4992 + 0.741 = 1.24 Gold. Each weapon costs 1.24/52 = 0.02385 Gold . #strade price is around 0.0215-0.022 Gold which means you will suffer severe losses if you employ in Serbia at the current rates.

Now here is an advanced trick. Countries that charge high income taxes force high salaries to be offered. A smart employee and workers can mutually cheat this tax legally on e-SIM. We ask workers to work for us in minimum salary of 1 Local Currency. After they work, we pay them their salary as donation (which is tax free). In this manner we save the amount of TAX we had to pay. If we split the TAX saved and share both parties can make extra profit. We mostly pay in Gold salary (bcz, everyone loves Gold and since we buy RAW in Gold sell product in Gold so if we can also pay salary in Gold we don't even need the local currency anymore).
Income TAX in Serbia for Weapons is 15%. Which means even though the salary seems 15.11 RSD , workers actually get 15.11 x (100%-15%) = 15.11 * 0.85 = 12.84 RSD paying 2.27 RSD income tax. If we give salary as donation we save 2.27 RSD .
Even it we give 14 RSD salary to the workers they are actually getting more bcz thay don't have to pay TAX. And you are paying less.
So lets see if you find Gold salary workers in Serbia your production cost would be -
14/20.3896 = 0.69 Gold salary cost + 0.4992 Gold RAW cost.
Total cost = 1.19 Gold for 52 Weapons.
Cost per weapon = 1.19/52 = 0.0229 Gold . Still more than 0.0215-0.022 Gold selling price.
So it would be a LOSS PROJECT!
That's all. Now I have shown you the way to calculate. You do your own and find what is good for you.
Note: Salary at each skill level is different. Skill 4 worker model maybe a LOSS PROJECT but Skill 5 maybe the charm. I have companies in USA with Skill 5/6 workers. Making good profit daily. Calculate yourself.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
