Fillies and Gentlecolts of the United States,

Firstly and most importantly, welcome to all of our new citizens! RealD has been over-whelmed with the sudden influx of people and has been going through welcome packages so fast he may have to request extra funding from Congress. I really hope he does.

But, with this influx of new faces comes a lot of confusion about the geo-political landscape. Who are our friends? Why are we fighting for this nation instead of that? Why don't we declare war on someone?

Well, before I get to that, if you are new, you are probably wondering who the f*** I am and why the f*** should you read this really long article that doesn't have any pictures. (Okay, I'll put a picture on at the end but you have to read it all, don't just scroll to the bottom!)

I am a former CP and have been involved with this thing we call the eUS for a year now. I ran TOP GUN from it's infancy until about six months ago. I run two military units, am the Military Commander of Aleutian Pact and have been an advisor our Presidents... well, for a while. I can't remember.

I think of my job here as to do whatever needs doing.

Right now, we're in need of some education on the Geo-Political landscape and so I'll be doing that. ^_^

This is going to be a long article about US Policy and it might be boring for some people. If you don't care, that's okay. Some people like to pick their own sides. Some people just fight where they're told. Everyone should play the game however is fun for them. But, if you do want to understand who we are and what we are doing as a nation, then this is a good, detailed explanation.

There are two major alliances.

G7 is an alliance of the two super-powers of the game, Poland and Lithuania, and a hand full of mid-range countries. They tend to expand aggressively and hold most of the occupied areas of the world.

Phoenix is a very large collection of mid-range and some smaller countries.

The two are very evenly matched, which makes the damage of every single country a comodity that needs to be won.

Months ago, the United States called itself neutral and wanted nothing to do with either G7 or Phoenix's fighting. We went around the world and helped to liberate smaller countries from occupations of both alliances, Ireland, Belgium and The Netherlands.

The trouble began when we made a push to dislodge Australia from Indonesian control.

Poland decided we were making too much trouble and, without warning, declared war and attacked us. We had been occupied by Poland twice in the months before that (part of why we did not want to join an alliance), and most of us saw doom once again on the horison.

But Phoenix was committed to winning our support. They showed up hard, as did our new friends, and we spent hundreds of gold on supplying Americans and foreigners a-like and we did what seemed impossible. We beat Poland back.

Neutrality was no longer an option, however Phoenix still seemed too large and disjointed to function properly. So, we gathered our new friends and we formed a new alliance called The Aleutian Pact.

We represent the critical damage of smaller nations whoes combined force can swing the balance of power. We mostly align ourselves with Phoenix, but we are their partners and not their slaves.

A problem we have had, since our early days, is that many of the people who wish to be members are occupied by Phoenix nations.

This frustrates me quite a lot, since Phoenix states that its goal is to topple G7, but that some of their members colonize nations (that would be potential allies) while nations in their own alliance are occupied by G7. I speak with Phoenix leadership regularly and this frustrates them too, however Phoenix is a large alliance with disperate interests and so their individual nations and Military Units are difficult to control, at times.

Recently, this problem has come to the forefront of US Foreign Policy.

In the very first days of The Aleutian Pact, Brazil petitioned us for membership. We refused them, out of a desire to not be inconflict with Portugal, a member of Phoenix. But this bothered us.

Brazil was a potential ally and could help in this battle, but instead of letting go and getting them on our side, Portugal wasted damage every day holding Brazilian regions by force.

It's a stupid thing for an alliance who is supposed to fight G7 to do.

So, I spoke with Phoenix and their Military Commander agreed and told us it was fine for us to accept and liberate Brazil and Phoenix would not support Portugal.

For the last week or so, that is what we have been doing and with some success. Enough sucess that Portugal talked to it's friend, Spain and hatched a very dirty plan.

We have been on good terms with Spain for some time, and two days ago they offered us an MPP. We accepted immediately, because the United States thinks of them as friends.

Spain then attacked Brazil.

They attacked Brazil knowing that our MPP would direct American damage against Brazil, and that we could not void our MPP with them without declaring war on Spain.

They preyed on our trust and used it against a friend of ours.

Personally, I no longer consider Spain a friend and know the United States will not take this sitting down. I am pursuing all diplomatic avenues with Portugal, Spain, Brazil and Phoenix, but tensions are high.

I only hope Phoenix member nations recognize the counter-productiveness of Portugal's occupation and the very underhanded methods used by Spain.

We cannot afford in-fighting and we cannot afford to appease self-interested nations ahead of our mutual fight against G7.

Sincerely,

His Holiness; Hentai Christ the Loli Drama

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
