Before we start, I'd like to talk about last month.
It was the first time I got elected as CP so I knew I was going to see new stuff so I wanted to take a slow start but unfortunatly that didn't happen. Nexus fell apart short after I got elected as CP, this had a big effect since France was in Nexus also and we had a renting agreement with them.
A few things I did last month:
The negotiations with the French people:
They where renting our regions for the war with the Netherlands.
Now since Nexus fell apart and France wasn't officially an ally anymore we had to talk about the agreement, our relationships and what we had in mind for the future... With we I mean the French president, MoFa's and other people with a big influence or an important position. The negotiations didn't went as easy/fast as I hoped.
First of all because I didn't have much time, I worked 10-11 hours each day 5-6/7. Then ofcourse I still have my social life and then e-Sim. This made it hard for me and the people involved in the negotiations to meet on the IRC, there was almost always somebody who couldn't come at the time scheduled. When we finally had an agreement it needed to be proposed to the congress, which took 48 hours. Unfortunatly, the president of France got impeached at that moment, meaning we're back to zero. This repeated itself once more, another president got impeached when we got to an agreement again.
Now I'm negotiating with the French people again, it's going much better now due to the fact I need to work less meaning I have more time to be on e-Sim and the new French president and his goverment. The French congress is voting for the new proposal as we speak. Ofcourse I can already hear you coming, "France is going to have a new CP again after the elections." but the odds are pretty big that it'll be a president from the same party as the current president and they stand for the same things and think alike... Also the goverment of that president are going to be people I'm negotiating with now so with the previous experience it'll make it easyer in the future.
-France will keep the 3 Belgian regions they are currently renting.
-France will also get the region Alsace Lorraine back.
-Belgium will recieve 20G each week transferred from the France org to Belgium Org.
-France and Belgium will have a N(on) A(ggression) P(act).
The fall of Nexus:
Beeing a small country has it downsides when you're not in an alliance obviously. That's what my second worry was, we suddenly didn't have an alliance and where/are surrounded by country's who're stronger then us. First we have France, they where our ally since we where both members of the same alliance but ofcourse that changed. We did have a good relationship and the fact we had a renting deal made it less likely they where going to attack us. The chance was still there though, if we reach to a new agreement again this will also mean we'll have a NAP so then France isn't a threat. We also have Germany, they are in Omega (the alliance France joined after the fall of Nexus). We haven't negotiated with them as there where no hostile activities but that doesn't mean there won't be any in the future. When it would come that far we wouldn't have allot of things to use in negotiations, the only thing that could help us is a new alliance. (Which I'm working on right now.
)
Then finally we have the Netherlands, the threat of them attacking us was/is very small since they have their hands full with the war with France.
We don't have borders with the UK which is the closest stronger country after the ones mentioned above but we signed an MPP with them a bit less then a month ago.
The BB ofcourse:
I really think this says it all... I saw it coming, that's why I talked to people motivating them to start a BB themselves, not only is it good for Belgium, you also profit big time from it when it's succesfull. Before I got elected as CP I was MoIa. At that time I was the one starting BB's, putting effort in motivating other people to do so et cetera, but since I had different things on my mind now that I was president I couldn't put time in that no more. I realised that also at the start, so I also appointed 2 MoIa's to do so... Then again the link shows we failed in that, and I want to apologize for that. The people appointed for that but also me weren't succesfull in starting a new BB.
Things to do for the next month:
Now I have a better look at what's wrong and how we could improve it I can present you a couple of plans to help make Belgium a better, more stable and respected country.
People who put effort into sBelgium:
I've noticed all the country's have people who are determind to reach certain goals and who put allot of effort into reaching it. No offence, but in Belgium we don't. I see people who are willing to but maybe don't know how to yet. :-/
I'd like to find reliable people and guide them, things that I can think of this moment:
-Civil war:
I'd like to start the civil war project again, not only does Belgium profit from it, also the Belgian citizens. This would also solve the fact we don't have allot of wars.
This should only be done when it's organised though, when it's succesfull it can be really good for both Belgium and the players. But when it goes wrong, it can go wrong horribly also... So for this I'm looking for 1-2 persons who're willing to organise it.
-Party elections/Congress elections:
This I used to do when I was a MoIa. What I aim for is organised elections, at least for the party elections. People who want to TO a country start with a new party to get allot of their members in the congress. You need to have your party in top 5 by amount of members in the country but that isn't a problem in Belgium since we don't have much parties... Once they're in the congress they can accept more citizen applications from their friends who're aiming for a TO also which helpes them again in the elections. And finally they take over the congress or even worse they get the president seat. :-/
To prevent this I'd like trustable people as partyleaders. They can edit the candidatures for congress, for this to happen we need to organize the votes. So I'm also searching for a person for this matter.
-BB(Babyboom):
This is very important, to grow as a country logically we need more citizens. A babyboom takes allot of effort and determination but as said before you also gain allot yourself, not only achievements but lots of gold! I'm not asking for a few people to do this but just everybody... Everybody who's interested in this can contact me if they don't know how to get started.

So I'd be more then happy to recieve personal message's from people who are willing to put effort or be of meaning for Belgium. I also want to show with this every citizen is important for his country.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
