The last 12 hours have been epic to say the least. Here is a summary of everything that has happened from the minute Indonesia declared war until now. Some of this you may know, some of this might clear things up.
I woke up and we were down 1-0 in the Jeolla battle already. Unfortunately for Canada, most Unico MUs were stationed in Makedonia helping Greece vs Republic of Macedonia in a very tight and explosive battle. Luckily Iran was free and they came to our aid valiantly nearly pulling off a huge comeback win in Round 2, but came just short. Down 2-0 with still 4 hours to go until day change and not much damage available on our side, things looked pretty bad.
So I decided it was time to hire some mercenaries haha I paid Pinguim FLU and Special Services Group Mercenary Mode who did a combined 12M damage for us, helping us win 2 extremely close rounds, one of them by a little over 100 000 and the other by only 3 000!! Thankfully day change arrived and Unico came to our aid and evened out the battle quite well.
I've heard many different opinions or worries relating to USA and our rental deal so let me clarify certain things for everyone. The clause in the Canada/USA Rental Agreement and NAP Extension we signed at the end of July is word for word as follows: "In the event that Canada loses Jeolla, Canada reserves the right to immediately end the NAP and rental agreement if it was deemed USA or USA's allies were a distinct influence in the loss."
I've heard people say this is bad because then USA will be able to attack us too. I've heard that if we lose Jeolla, then we will also lose the rent and it'll be 2X worst. I've heard quite a few canadians think this was a mistake to add in the deal.
Although it's quite the opposite. The reason I added that clause into the deal was for several reasons. If USA values and appreciates the deal we have with them, it guarantees that AGC will not attack us and makes our SK regions even more secure, because USA won't wanna lose the deal we have (which ended up happening but only because AGC wasn't aware of the clause). And if we were to lose Jeolla without having this clause then we'd be handcuffed into not having a high region for who knows how long. And everyone who was here before our SK invasion knows how terrible that is. So with this clause in place, it gives us a chance at gaining our own high region back if we get booted from SK, which isn't too far fetched with help from our alliance. And lastly, as the clause states, it is Canada who reserves the right to end the deal, it doesn't automatically end.
On a more American note... They have agreed to help us secure it because USA does not in fact want to invade us and kill us all as some of you silly conspiracy theorists have fretted about. The fact they are going as far as fighting AGAINST their own really good ally Indonesia to keep this deal in place impresses me greatly and has made me gain intense respect for DerpyHooves for what was a very difficult decision to make. And I'm sure there are many Americans who disagree with it, just as there are Canadians who disagree with my decisions, but at the end of the day, USA has chosen to fight hard for us to secure Jeolla and keep the deal intact, and that's what matters.
This whole thing is a clusterfuck. And this is a summary. Indonesia and AGC decided to attack Jeolla on a whim, it was planned very short-term as far as I know. USA was not aware of the plans. Indonesia and AGC were not aware of the Jeolla clause USA and Canada had. Confusion ensued.
Some sidenotes I would like to point out. A resistance war was started in North Chungcheong . This is only a medium region that would not give a debuff anywhere if we lost it. The only downside would be re-opening war which costs 30G.
tarsieg is a true canadian hero for donating 6 Q1 Defense Systems. He will soon be upgrading to Q2 and will keep sending some over on a consistent basis. My hat goes off to him.
SpaceDyeVest deserves a firm handshake and a rough pat on the back for keeping things afloat while I had a shift at work (worst timing).
And last but not least, regardless of the outcome of this battle, I would like to send out a warm thank you to Iran for putting it all on the line for us from the very get-go of the battle. Big thanks to all the other Unico nations for helping us out. Canada has a very good memory for things like these and it won't soon be forgotten.
Cheers!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
Take part in numerous events for the E-Sim community.
