I return, with another exciting article as the other! Apologies for the lack of pictures (and re-use), my graphics designer is on holiday. Which is all good, I'll get by I guess!

inset: LukeZo with his cabinet. again

Once again, I return to run for President. And I'm here to present my views to you and show you what I want to do whilst president. I wish to therefore take a few minutes or hours, dependant on how long you think about how you could possibly match me in terms of being awesome. I doubt it'll be very long, but hey, we can all dream right? I mean.. you know what, never mind. Let us get onto it.

Organisation

I had to underline this one. As I have been chanting all before this, we need organisation. We need a better, more friendly community not full of bitches bitching about who's better and who has better grammar. I created the forums for that reason alone, probably a few more but I'd say that's the main one, I put effort into them for that reason alone: to make Ireland more organised. It's what we need to develop as a nation and to even stand a fighting chance alone against the UK.

Now, I'm not being unrealistic. But if we actually debated things, had votes and stayed friendly to each other as a community we will develop as a nation into better things. Ireland is in a very, very bad state right now and you only really have yourself to blame. It was expected one day or another. But we can solve this, and it takes something as little as this to make our situation better as a whole and for many months to come. We just need to actually put it in place. I can guarantee it.

Alliances and the war

In my sole opinion, we need an alliance. Or atleast some allies to rely onto. Spain and Greece did a good job at defending us, and I thank them. But we need to actually join an alliance now and we need to pick which one on who to join. I have appointed two MoFAs, as I will detail shortly, to find out which alliance is best for us. After that, I will do a referendum on which alliance to join. I have a few alliances floating about of which I am favourable towards, but I do not know which I wish to join until I speak to them. But I can guarantee we shall get ourselves in one alliance.

Citizenship

As a small nation with not many active players, we seem to be an easy PTO threat, of which is why we are so tight on citizenship. This ties sort of in with organisation. We should be more open, but I shall develop an application of which people who are applying will have to complete in order to enter Ireland, and guidelines towards congressman when they are accepting. Not every citizen that comes in is a PTOer, realise that. The quicker we do the quicker we can gain more citizens and more helpful guys around here. Not everyone will be native Irish, but there will always be atleast five non-natives in each e-sim countries. And in ours, a hell of alot more.

Military

Again, I sorry to keep repeating this but.. we are a small nation. And having every single unit dotted all over isn't great. But I aim to strengthen up these units. We need to get more weapons and better gift quality. We already have the food, let us aim now for the gifts, the weapons and of course the organisation. I aim to setup supply channels in order to help our allies in wartime like Spain did for us, well, not solely for us, but you get the idea. This is how we get organised and this is how we will succeed as a nation even more than we do currently. I got alot of positive remarks when I was organising people in the wars which we did (aren't I arrogant? huehue) and I hope to continue on my previous work and take it a step further if I get president. It's all very easy to sort, for me anyhow. (ARROGANT!!!!!)

I want to get everyone in an MU, regardless of their strength, XP or anything else. We need to have the bonus to have a fighting chance, and this will certainly help. Getting our supplies sorted out and stopping the raw shortages (something I take from the source of ryshpash, please correct me if I'm wrong rysh and this'll be removed because it is false) will also be something I hope to tackle after the complaints made by so many current MU soldiers working for supplies. It just needs a bit of sorting out, it's not that hard! heh (subtle message: VOTE FOR ME)

Now, onto my cabinet.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA): Xerox and HitmanPA

These two men have alot of experience behind them and can secure us alliances. I have chosen two in order to ensure that we can get an MPPs and that we can research those alliances and see which one is best for us and which one can benefit us the most. We need reliable and strong allies, not unreliable and strong. It is the exact reason why I appointed two and I think they'll do good by us.

Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA): Hekter

I asked Hekter to under take this position and he responded positively. I chose Hekter because he is experienced and has alot of history behind him when it comes to managing a countries internal affairs, aswell as being able to get our legislations and laws in place and instigating discussions between congress members. I also chose him because he's very, very friendly, a generally nice guy and a help around Ireland. He's not here to ruin it, he's here to have fun and also to make your guys experience fun in the process. I wouldn't pick people who I felt wasn't experienced.

Ministry of Ecomics (MoE): Not chosen.

Feel free to apply for this. No one was available who I knew, but you shall be incharge in getting Ireland's economy back on track, aswell as managing the treasury of sIreland.

Ministry of Education (MoE): Various volunteers.

I felt appointing one person to this ministry wouldn't be great. It'd be a waste. Of which is why I'm going to speak out to everyone in Ireland, if I get president, to anyone wanting to help out new players and create tutorials, articles and all that jazz. Of course, I shall appoint a main person orchestrating this in time, but I felt if we had more players helping new guys it'll be more welcoming and less unwelcoming, which is currently what sIreland is like right now.

And that about wraps it up folks. No doubt I'll have another article over the coming days, but for now.. have a nice morning/afternoon/evening folks!

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
