Daha yang meminta agar saya mengulas tentang singkatan-singkatan yang beredar di e-sim ini.
Sama seperti jika Anda smsan, pasti cegek kan kalo singkatan Anda tidak dimengerti oleh lawan sms Anda? Rasa asyiknya tidak akan dirasakan sebagai timbal balik sms itu.
Demikian juga dengan singkatan di e-sim ini, kalau pemain baru stuck di kata-kata itu tanpa tahu dan tanpa diberi tahu apa artinya, maka ada kemungkinan komunikasi gagal. Kalau komunikasi gagal, interaksi sosial kacau. Kalau interaksi sosial kacau, pemain baru layu sebelum bertumbuh, sementara lawan pun berjoget dengan indahnya.
Berhubung saya juga masih terhitung sebagai newbie (belum 1 bulan main
) maka sementara ini saya akan mendaftar singkatan-singkatan yang saya tahu.
1. RW = Resistance War
> Mudahnya ini adalah perang untuk memerdekakan negeri yang terjajah. Misalnya region X milik Negara A diserang oleh Negara B, dan Negara B menang. Jika sewaktu-waktu ada yang membuka RW (cost : 20 Gold) maka jika RW dimenangkan Resistance Side region X tersebut kembali menjadi milik Negara A. Jika gagal maka tetap menjadi milik Negara B.
2. MU = Military Unit
> Fitur in game yang secara harfiah berarti kesatuan prajurit, dengan join MU yang sudah ada maka Anda bisa mendapatkan bonus damage setiap kali hit (besarannya tergantung rank MU – Novice 5%, Regular 10%, Veteran 15%, Elite 20%).
3. Wamil = wajib militer
> Salah satu syarat MU pada umumnya. Maksud dari wamil itu sendiri adalah Anda bekerja di company milik MU dengan gaji rendah (sekitar 2-1 IDR), tetapi Anda juga mendapatkan logistik sebagai ganti gaji entah itu food, weapon, atau gift. Besaran logistik tergantung kebijakan MU masing-masing.
4. IRC = Internet Relay Chat
> Salah satu sarana komunikasi via chat para pemain e-sim Indo. Selengkapnya bisa dibaca di sini dan di sini .
5. Mako = Markas Komando
> Biasanya yang dimaksud adalah room IRC MU terkait, bisa digunakan sebagai tempat koordinasi jika ada warbar atau sekedar tempat bercengkrama dengan rekan-rekan MU. Jika Anda sudah join MU coba saja PM salah satu petinggi MU untuk mengetahui makonya
6. Warbar = War Bareng, saudaranya Nobar
> Sesuai namanya, warbar adalah aktivitas war bersama, lebih spesifik lagi adalah dua orang atau lebih turun di satu BF yang sama pada ronde yang sama di waktu yang sama. Biasanya koordinasi dilakukan di IRC.
7. ALAP = As Late As Possible
> Strategi war di e-sim, sesuai namanya adalah ‘se-terlambat mungkin’. Maksudnya adalah strategi untuk menyimpan damage pada awal ronde dan baru mulai menghajar battlefield di menit-menit akhir alias last minute untuk mengejutkan lawan.
8. BF = Battlefield.
9. Log = Logistik, bisa berupa HP maupun WP.
10. DS = Defense System
> Bangunan selain hospital yang hanya bisa dibangun oleh pemerintah di region-region yang kita kuasai. Fungsinya antara lain jika kita turun di ronde yang memiliki bangunan DS maka kita mendapat bonus damage 5% - 25% bergantung pada quality bangunan. 1 bangunan hanya berlaku untuk satu ronde jadi gov harus bijak-bijak meletakkannya. Semisal di region X pada ronde 7 dipasang DS Q4, jika ronde tersebut defense side kalah maka bangunan itu hancur
:O> Paket logistik maupun paket bekal perang berupa barang-barang untuk menaikkan health, yaitu roti a.k.a food dan gift. Umumnya berisi 10 food Q5 dan 10 gift Q5.
12. WP = Warpack
> Paket logistik maupun paket bekal perang berupa barang untuk health sekaligus senjata plus ticket untuk pindah. Biasanya berupa 10 food Q5, 10 gift Q5, 110 weapon Q1, dan 2 ticket Q5. Jika ada yang bilang "WP Q2" maka umumnya food, gift, dan ticket sama, hanya saja weaponnya berupa 110 weapon Q2. Begitu pula WP Q3, Q4, dan Q5.
13. PM = Private Message
> Kalau di e-sim berarti mengirimkan message. Kalau di IRC, mem-PM itu teknisnya seperti ini : ketik /query nick. Misal Anda mau mem-PM kawahara, maka commandnya adalah /query kawahara. Nantinya di jendela percakapan itu cuma Anda dan kawahara saja yang bisa membaca isinya.

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
