Today, there is no funky monkeys, today is serious business. Due to the congressional proposal to make me the new President, I've assumed the office, effective yesterday.
I like you, America, so I won't lie to you. We don't have a lot of time left in the term, so there will be a lot of "staying the course" involved here. Our MPPs are good for another 20 days, so get your fights in. Work/train/grow. It's the only way for the nation to become strong enough to chart our own course in this game. We lack organization, and people willing to put their best efforts in. At the same time, many citizens have viewed the adversity as a challenge and risen above it, working the protective system of taxes in place, thanks largely to the efforts of a select few congressmen.
So where does that leave us? With our destiny firmly in our own hands. First off, due to the underwhelming performance of active congressmen this term, (generally only 9 of 20 congressmen vote for any one proposal, less than 50%.) I'm announcing that the forums are finally live, and I'll be expecting our new class of congress to sign up, so that proper discussions and debate can happen before proposals are introduced, or made in game. You can sign up here. Realistically, ALL American citizens should be signing up here. It's a great tool for everyone who doesn't necessarily like IRC, but still would like to be in the loop and interact with a great group of players.
Next up on my to-do list? A real Department of Defense. An IRC channel for all American MUs to coordinate in, with leaders chosen and hand-picked by myself. I'm calling on all Phoenix, US Army, Marines and any allied US MU to come to the table on this issue. Right now, our orders are fairly simple, but our damage is scattered throughout the day. Part of this is due to timezone differences and our small but growing population, but with proper coordination, we could begin solving a lot of our issues in this area. This Department will answer to the President directly and will advise on targets best suited for our population, daily.
Another area I think we need to become more fluid and creative in, is the economic aspect. I've asked a couple of great citizens, Vladimir and grimthereaper, to contribute to an economic council of sorts, and I have plans to add more company owners and experienced players. The goal will be to offer our new players education on how to wisely make money, run companies and strengthen our fledgling economy. I won't push for daily articles, but enough to give valuable information to our citizens in regards to finances and tax schemes.
So the most important aspect and one I'm sure you're all wondering where I stand on, is the NAP. No. It's not going away magically simply because we're America and we want it to. HOWEVER, I'm not signing ANYthing over to Russia that won't be mutually beneficial as much to us, as it is to them. Custo has been gracious in his conversations with me, and this is a great opportunity for them to back up their words with actions. There's bad blood between us and Russia due to the actions of a few, irusik and Cheshire Cat. irusik, for the backstab, and Cheshire for the relentless trolling. They should be prepared for that. So I'd like to repeat again, just so I'm clear: the NAP stays until the end of this term. We're simply not strong enough to fight them on even terms, let alone against their MPPs of even stronger countries like Lithuania/Bulgaria, etc. Common sense dictates we grow strong first, then see how the field lies.
Finally, I will announce that I will be seeking re-election after the term ends. There's a lot of work that needs to be done, and I hate leaving jobs unfinished. I make only one promise, America. That I will continue to put the best interests of our citizens FIRST and foremost, much like the NAF's creed. America First, always and forever.
Thank you for your time.

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
