Party Business!
Liquid Homicide here with a list of awesome and active people running for congress from the NAF.
But first, I'll give you an introduction to the NAF and why you should be apart of it.
The party itself is much like the country. Myself and a dedicated group of people took a
dead party and turned it into the biggest in the country. Much like the country, the party
rose from the ashes and began taking in the best and brightest people. We're chockful of
ideas and solid reasons why we represent quality.
The Endorsements
First off, let me introduce you to buddy62
He may be young in the game, but he's extremely eager to begin helping the country out.
We're confident he'll do well in congress.
Secondly, Tosh OPoint is an awesome
youngster who's eager to really sink his teeth into the metagame.
Next up, we have a veteran who I'm sure needs no introduction.
LordSupremo is a 4 term congressman, a veteran of the Phoenix MU and one of the
strongest soldiers the simUSA has in our arsenal. He's always active, available and ready
to contribute to congressional work. I have full confidence in his abilities.
Our next candidate has a few words of his own to say about his campaign. They can be read
here.
Echo has recently become an active contributor to our party channel, so I know he'll
do quite well. He's a strong candidate, a good businessman and I know he'll put America's
best interests first.
Leroy Combs is our next candidate. Leroy
had a great first term this month, and has contributed quite a bit to rebuilding our economy,
offering solid advice, and his damage to the Army MU. I know that if he's elected again,
he'll continue to do great work for the country in whatever capacity he's needed in.
grimthereaper has solidly impressed me
this month. When we got our first region back from Russia, he hit the ground running,
providing affordable food in our fledgling market. Already, he's been able to upgrade it
to a q2 company and shows no signs of slowing down! With that kind of eager accumen,
I know he'll be a great example of a simUS congressman.
sheepshag also needs no introduction, as he's
always contributed his time and effort to both congress and the Army MU. sheepy's dedication
is unmatched, despite the fact he's forced to play from his phone due to a computer mishap.
That hasn't stopped him from being active in both the IRC and in shouts! He'll continue
to be a valuable asset to the simUS.
Jon Vontalmo also needs no introduction.
He's been a longstanding member of the simUS community and a valuable asset to the NAF.
He has one previous term in congress, and if elected, I know he'll be a valuable asset
to congress and the country.
Vladimir is yet another citizen seeking
his second term...and what can I say about him? He's quietly made a major impact in
contributing to congress, coming up with a protective tax plan and making sure he's
always available to discuss proposals as they come in. He's a valuable contributor and
America would do quite well with him in office for a second term.
John Myrick has always been on the ball when
it comes to passing beneficial legislation. He's seeking his third congressional term, and
is another strong American soldier. I wish him luck in his campaign, but I know he'll do well.
pikezh638 is next, and he's always
an active contributor, is enthusiastic and helpful. I know he'll continue these traits, should
he be elected to congress.
Feefaroni wrote a great educational article
about using IRC, and brings a LOT of experience to the table from other games of this variety.
I'm sure she'll be a beneficial and valuable asset to the country.
Danny Crowley is a multi term congressman, a kickass soldier in the mighty Phoenix MU, has been a major help and contributor on IRC and with shaping the party! No congressionals would be complete without this MVP!
EzZEk has recently come out of the woodwork and has a LOT of bright ideas with which to improve the country. He's active, engaging and will do a great job, if elected!
JohnGato is our final endorsed candidate!
He's been a major help in the IRC and will continue to be of benefit to the country.
The Last Word
I've made certain selections based on candidates' in game activity and activity in IRC. The
best way to get your name out there and get involved in the party and how things are being
run, is to log into #NAF, or #e-sim.usa! I'm going to be finalizing forums space tonight,
and as soon as we're ready to announce it, expect a major rollout! NAF stands for progression
through adversity, and these candidates best represent what we're about and our willingness
to serve the country! Anyone wanting a genuine shot next term can reach me in both #NAF on IRC

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
