We can change the World... but we're too lazy. We're too unconcerned and we lack a hope for a change for better, perhaps?
Or maybe we're just waiting for someone to appear out of nowhere and do all the work for us & we'll just follow their leadership.
No! That's not how freedom works! If we want to do something we shall start striving for it right now at this moment.

It's the third article where I'll try to start some discussion about what we, players in eJapan want to change (if anything). If someone would add something - please do. Criticise?- sure thing!

'What this Nyanro is talking about? It was telling about samurai system before and now it stops that and tries something else? Why?' - because Nyanro has made a lot of projects that started like this and ended in fiasco very soon. I see no will in our people to work on this one.

However esim is bigger than eJapan and in this article I'd like to see how we could make countries differ in something more than currency and flags.

There are lots of different ways in which societies can organize. From anarchy to dictatorship , republic, empire, democracy, aristocracy, oligarchy.

eSim already sets some basic standards in which players form their countries, but leaves players free to decide in more advanced topics and gives some tools for creation of more complex (possibly very interesting) social systems.
The other characteristic of eSim game is that it is MMO operating on internets, and as such players can't be forced to do many of things that can be forced by real life governments. Anything that is not strictly by game mechanics can only be achieved by means of volountary agreement between players.

When forming your perfect country there are some rules that any country implemented in game code must follow.
To name the few:
1.Jus soli -the rule that gives citizenship automatically to anyone 'born' in a country. (which may become problem due to no means to prevent multi PTOing), on the other hand the Jus sanguinis would have no sense as players can't have children(unless we consider invited players as 'children' )
2.Countries are national-based and allow only players with the specific country citizenship to vote
3.Dual-citizenships are forbidden (however some countries has 'honorary citizenship' which allows to vote on national forums)
4.Countries are unchangeable - cannot connect in unions (where 2nations could equally co-exist in one country)
5.All type of elections and votes are
equal
direct (however presidental elections could also be indirect (voted by congress)
anonymous (which can become problematic due to multies)
6.New citizenships lies in duties of congress (atleast the final act)
7.All countries has electable president.

And I guess that's most of things that are set in stone

Tools in eSim as Sources of law

Basic relations between body of government that are forced by game.

1.Congress
2.President
3.Party presidents
4.civil war

Additional helpful tools that doesn't force, but help to organize

5.Referendums (PS.)I really liked how Squibeel used referendums to decide on things in deal with Taiwan and leaving Hokkaido)
6.MUs

The rest is left for immagination and volountary will of players
This may include for example Constitution , or even a monarchy/dictatorship but those additional rules is something that players must agree on to follow.
7.Constitution

The things we can do with what we have is much more than what most of the communities here decide to do (mix of parlimentary/presidental republic).
With the willing players we can go for anything... here are some examples:

A) Presidental republic

By having president and his/her cabinet as main ruling force, ordering the congress to post the laws that cabinet requires atm

B) Parliamentary republic

With congress having the real power and choosing president only as a representative for congress's decisions

C) Direct democracy

Almost every issue can be voted by all citizens with the expense of only 2golds! Congress and president in this system are only servants to the people.

D) Monarchy

Requires agreement from most players. It can be either only representative or a truly absolute monarch who rules their subjects with wisedom.

E) anything other
with mixed use of all the options , possibilities are almost infinited.

With blank space you can write the history however you like

As for me I'd like to see mix of everything, not too complex, much fun but not too absorbing, nor time consuming.
After seeing Squibeel's term I think referendums could be used frequently (and should be used to establish a fixed system if we'll go that direction)
The begining of Domotine's term I was expecting the greater use of things not built into game - however at least basics must be established if we want this to be longer than a one-time go.

PS.Sorry for lower quality of article, but had to rewrite it, after publishing error :/
PS2. Also I write these articles only to post some purrty pictures, nya~ ^・ω・^

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
