Then to my surprise,
"Putek! game pala ito. LOLs". I was about to close the page when I thought to myself, "Hey, why not give it a try?" Thank God I did.
DAY 721. "Hmmmm... Ano kayang ginagawa dito?" so what I did was read a bunch of wikipedia entries about e-sim, but since I reallydon't like reading, I tried to message one of the players. That player was
ciru . Taglish pa nga message ko nun sa kanya kasi hindi ko naman alam na foreigner pala sya until he replied to my message. He's very kind to reply to my message as if we know each other. He then gave me a link to another vital part of this game, our IRC/Internet Relay Chat page. Honestly, I think I would've not stayed this long if I didn't visit the IRC when I did. Back then, The chatters can be counted using one's fingers... to the point na pati yung ibang medyo rare mag log in kilala mo parin... Dun ko nakilala halos lahat ng nasa friendlist ko ngayon sa e-sim. Dun ko din natutunan ang kahulugan at importansya ng T-2 at iba pang klase ng battle strategies.
Na-curious akong tignan kung ilan ang naglalaro nitong game na ito. I checked the online citizens.... Natawa pa nga ako nun kasi 6 lang, kasama pa ko dun sa anim na iyon. Those were the times na "Hala! Inatake ng Malaysia yung Puerto Princesa! Pano na yan?! anong gagawin natin?! hahaha..." I also had no idea back then about e-sim politics, and honestly si
yujn lang kilala kong politician. Kasi siya yung presidente. haha, but as the days went by naging aware ako sa kalakaran ng mga bagay bagay. I even tried to run for congress elections kaso nga lang di pinalad. lols.
Then the baby boom came(I guess isa ko sa mga UNANG nakatanggap nung ad na iyon kaya nakapag settle na ko bago hustong dumami yung citizens)! Yung dating 6 citizens online noon, biglang naging 30 na, then 52, umabot pa nga sa 60+ eh. (hindi ako religiously nagchecheck ng mga online citizens so hindi ko alam kung umabot ng lagpas 70 or 100 yung stats.) Yung dating 42 citizens na bumoto sa presidential elections noong August 2013, naging 130 na nung September! A 309.52% increase in politically active citizens! (alam ko madaming factors na kailangang i-consider para sa growth ng population but just let me use these data alone) Ang galing no?
And then this...
The presidential elections has been recently held this 5th of October. Guess what! yung dating 130 citizens 540 na ngayon! A 415.38% increase from last month at kung buwan naman ng Agosto ang ating pagbabasihan, it's a whopping 1285.71% increase!

All that I am saying is look at what we've accomplished! Before, the Philippines was at it's brink of extinction ayon sa mga players na mas nauna pa sa akin. Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
