Kort bakgrund till NBDs nya medlemmar kring varför vi nu är ockuperade:
Kortfattat, Litauerna och vi har alltid bekrigat varandra. I över ett år har de i olika omgångar anfallit och erövrat Sverige. Förra våren var vi utan land i mer än 3 månader. Målet för dem är inte bara att hålla oss nere och ta in skatt utan de ser nog gärna att vi erkänner oss besegrade och betalar tribut samt lovar att inte stödja våra allierade i andra länder såsom Lettland.
Då Sverige vägrar ge upp försöker de nu med ekonomiska medel slå ihjäl våra nya gamers. Skatten på 50% i sten, defencesystem samt estates lurar nya gamers att spelet är helt omöjligt att spela. Förra gången vi fick in många nya våren 2012 såg de till att hålla oss ockuperade med samma mål. Det lyckades inte då, men kanske den ekonomiska krigföringen ger frukt denna gången? Sammantaget, om jag en enda gång finge se den svenska flaggan vaja i Vilnius så blir jag nöjd. Fast vi lär nog få kämpa ett tag till. Men nya växer snabbt i styrka, så vem vet?
Lite strategi, varför krigar vi så ofta i Götaland och Kurzeme? Och vilka regioner är viktigast?
När man krigar i e-sim måste man anfalla från regioner som angränsar varandra. Alla regioner ger sedan skatt om ngn producerar saker där. Om man lyckas skära av sin fiende från core- regionerna får fienden -20% skada i regioner som är avskurna. Det påverkar vår taktik. Se på kartan, pilarna visar hur regioner hänger ihop.
1. Kurzeme, i Lettland- Litauens väg till Finland (åland) och Sverige (götaland) jo jag vet admin var full när han gjorde kartan..
2. Götaland, den mest strategiska regionen i Sverige
(Altså lyckas vi befria antingen Kurzeme eller götaland får fienden -20% dmg i hela skandinavien)
3. Svealand, huvudstads-regionen. Befriar vi regioner innan den är fri så får vi -20% i produktivitet i de fria regionerna.
4. Vestlandet, här finns high iron. Spelets bästa resurstyp. Alla svenska storföretatagre har företag där. Många har jobb.
Tips!
Ekonomi och jobb
Jobba smart, dvs jobba svart eller flytta utomlands. Handla smart, dvs handla svart eller utomlands. Varje slant du betalar in går till att köpa vapen som de pangar på oss med. Litauerna har spelets näst starkaste ekonomi, och 1700 pers bor i deras områden. Tyvärr bidrar även Svenskar till att de ska ha råd med ockupationen.

Men kortfattat, delstriderna avgörs sent. Litauerna är bra på att styra sin skada. De betalar ju med den skatt som vi pröjsar in åt dem. Har du svårt att ha råd att slå rejält och sent? Spara då och slå när det ser bra ut. Dvs när det är jämnt och bara 2 min kvar.

Ja vill man verkligen "vinna" i detta spelet ska man spela mot de duktigaste. Litauerna är skillade, men det har vi oxå blivit. Blir vi ngra fler, sammarbetar såsom vi gör när vi är som bäst. Så ses vi säkert i Vilnius innan sommaren!
Även andra svenskar kanske finner detta läsvärt. Men det postas för NBDs medlemmar,det går inte att skicka bilder i veckobreven.

Brief background to the NBDs new members, why we are now occupied:
Briefly, Lithuanians and Sweden have always been at war. For more than a year they have at various times attacked and conquered Sweden. Last spring we were without a country for more than 3 months. The goal for them is not just to keep us down and take in taxes, but they probably want that we recognize ourselves defeated and pay tribute and also promise not to support our allies in other countries such as Latvia.
Since Sweden refuse to give up, they now try financial means to kill our new gamers. The 50% tax on stone, defense systems and estates lure new gamers that the game is completely unplayable. The last time we had many new gamers registered in spring 2012, they decided to keep us occupied with the same goal. It did not work then, but perhaps the economic warfare gives fruit this time? Overall, if I only once could see the Swedish flag in Vilnius I will be happy. But we'll probably have to fight for a while. But new gamers rapidly grow in strength, so who knows?
A little strategy, why we are fighting so often in Götaland and Kurzeme? And which regions are most important?
When fighting in the e-sim you have to attack from the regions adjacent to each other. All regions then gives tax if someone produce things there. If you manage to cut off the enemy from the core regions the enemy recive a -20% damage penalty in regions that are cut off. It affects our tactics. See on the map, arrows show how regions are connected.

(So if we manage to liberate either Kurzeme or götaland then the enemy get -20% dmg throughout Scandinavia)

Work smart, pay no taxes or move abroad. Shop smart, shop at the black market or abroad. Every penny you pay goes to buying weapons they use on us. Lithuanians have the game's second strongest economy, and 1700 people living in their areas. Unfortunately, also Swedes contributes to that they can afford occupation.

But in short, battles are determined late. Lithuanians are good at controlling damage. They pay for their damage with the taxes we pay them. Do you have difficulty affording to hit hard and late in the battle? Then save and hit anotherday when it looks good. Looking good means that the battle is close and it is just 2 minutes left.

Yeah, if you really want to "win" in this game you should play against the most talented. Lithuanians are skilled, but we have been forced to become skilled too. If we cooperate as we do when we are at our best and if we manage to get a few more gamers.. then I might see you all in Vilnius before the summer!
Other Swedes may find this worth reading. But it mainly for NBDs members, I can not send pictures in weekly letters.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
