Work is at the core of everything you will do in your e-sim career. Your first money will be made by working. If you join a Military Unit (MU) most of them will ask for you to work where specified in exchange for supplies, and if you are a businessman, your own free labour can be the difference between profit and loss.
How effective your work is is controlled by economic skill. Early in the game your economic skill will be low and because of this, you won’t make very much money. However, it is one of the fastest rising traits in the game, and is extremely easy to train.
When you work every day you have a chance to win the hard worker medal which will give you 5 gold.

Second, the benefits of training:
How much damage you do is based mainly on your strength but also on other factors which are improved quickly by going on and training and fighting every day.
Every 30 training sessions you will also win a super soldier medal
this one is just as shiny
Like the hard worker medal, a super soldier medal gives you 5 gold and looks good on your profile.
Now, a story from one of our veterans of the game,

This is a game to to where the real gamers hangout. Any /vg/ board on any chan. 4chan, 7chan, or 420chan,whatever. Do not post your referral link or you will get banned. Just post the link to the game and let them know your in game name. Tell them if they put in your in game name they will get extra gold and so will you. Also you must get their attention and give them a reason to want to play. Tell them you are trying to take over a country in this case I would lie and say you are trying to take over Canada so make sure you start in Canada or say start in Canada we are planning on wiping the USA off the map. If you say you are trying to wipe the USA of the map they might start in the USA.
I got 24 people to join in one night using this. I actually got banned that night because they thought I was making multies. All I did was post my referral link and someone else started talking about taking over a country which made them want to join. 4 months later almost all those players quit playing but I got rich in the process and never had to take anything over.
As far as the MU leader thing... I am not that good of a leader. I just took all that money I made and put it in the MU. I gave a bunch to strcat and he was like a financial wizard and made a lot of money off the USA selling Q1 weapons. He kept one of his trusted friends as a USA citizen and donated the weapons to him to sell to avoid paying taxes. He paid quite a bit of gold to get the MU to elite.
One funny thing he did was to send a PM to every worker at any competing Q1 gun company and told them they weren't getting paid enough and they should either come work for him or easily look for a better job. A couple of days went by where there was hardly any Q1 weapons made and he literally cornered the market.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
