Apa itu Monetary Market?
Monetary Market, disingkat MM, merupakan tempat jual beli kurs mata uang dan Gold. Dari tempat inilah agan2 bisa mendapatkan seluruh jenis mata uang dengan menukarkan uang yang agan miliki.
Berbeda dengan perdagangan kurs mata uang di RL (Real Life), tidak ada potongan biaya dari MM di e-sim. Artinya, uang yang agan dapatkan dari MM adalah murni hasil pertukaran mata uang, tanpa ada potongan sedikitpun.
Cara menggunakan MM dapat dilihat pada contoh di bawah:
Misal
BillyBat ingin menukarkan uang IDR-nya ke mata uang Gold. Maka dia bisa melakukannya dengan 2 cara:
a)Langsung membeli Gold. Caranya ialah dengan mengatur opsi di 'Show Offers' menjadi
Cara ini relatif instan, karena agan langsung mendapatkan G yang diinginkan
b)Menjual IDR yang agan miliki. Caranya ialah dengan memasukkan uang yang agan ingin jual di 'Your offers'. Setelan opsinya ialah:
Lalu masukkan angka nominal dan harga (rate) dari IDR yang ingin agan jual.
MM ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif mencari pendapatan. Contoh cara mencari uang di MM ialah:
1)Jual mata uang
Di mayoritas negara di e-sim, terdapat selisih antara harga jual dan harga beli kurs lokal. Di dalam keadaaan normal, seseorang akan lebih untung untuk menjual mata uang lokalnya daripada membeli Gold secara langsung. Selisih harga ini dinamakan 'spread'. Spread inilah yang dimanfaatkan dalam mencari pendapatan.
Contoh kasus:
Misal keadaan kurs mata uang di Bulgaria (mata uang: BGN) ialah 1 G = 35 BGN, 1 BGN = 0.0293 G. Dengan kedua angka tersebut, seseorang dapat mencari pendapatan dengan menjual Gold yang dia miliki, kemudian hasil penjualan Gold tsb dijual kembali. Dengan modal awal 10G, maka kemungkinan uang yang dia dapatkan ialah:
Dari penjualan G: 10 G * 35 BGN/1G = 350 BGN
Dari penjualan BGN: 350 BGN * 0.0293 G/BGN = 10.26 G (pembulatan)
Dari siklus tersebut, maka dia memperoleh uang tambahan berupa 0.256 G (selisih modal awal dan hasil penjualan)
Cara ini membutuhkan pengamatan yang jeli dan juga kesabaran, karena terkadang membutuhkan waktu yang lama sebelum siklus 2x penjualan tersebut berhasil dilaksanakan. Dan juga, seringkali terdapat salip-menyalip tawaran penjualan yang harus dicermati.
2)Beli mata uang
Terkadang, terdapat sesuatu keadaan ekonomi di mana angka spread menjadi negatif (arti: akan lebih untung untuk membeli Gold secara langsung daripada menjual mata uang lokal). Keadaan ini relatif langka, tetapi keuntungan yang bsia didapatkan relatif instan.
Contoh kasus:
Misal keadaan kurs mata uang di Polandia (mata uang: PLN) ialah 1 G = 30 PLN, 1 PLN = 0.029 G. Dengan kedua angka tersebut, seseorang dapat mencari pendapatan dengan membeli PLN, kemundian dari uang PLN tsb langsung ditukarkan ke Gold. Misal dengan modal awal 10G, maka kemungkinan uang yang dia dapatkan ialah:
Dari pembelian PLN: 10 G / 0.029 G/PLN = 344.83 PLN (pembulatan)
Dari pembelian G: 344.83 PLN / 30 PLN/G = 11.49G (pembulatan)
Dari siklus tersebut, maka dia memperoleh uang tambahan sejumlah 1.49G (selisih modal awal dan hasil pembelian)
3)Tahan mata uang
Di beberapa negara, kondisi kurs mata uang relatif tidak stabil. Hal ini juga bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana mencari pendapatan. Caranya ialah menjual mata uang saat harga penjualan mata uang tsb tinggi, kemudian membeli balik mata uang tsb saat harga tersebut menurun.
Contoh kasus:
Di suatu hari, kondisi kurs mata uang di Yunani (mata uang: GRD) ialah 1 G = 21.5 GRD. Kemudian, beberapa hari kemudian, kondisi tersebut berubah menjadi 1G = 20.2 GRD. Seseorang dapat memanfaatkan kondisi tersebut dengan cara menjual G pada saat harga 1 G = 21.5 GRD, kemudian membeli G saat harga 1G = 20.2 GRD. Misal dengan modal 10G, maka kemungkinan uang yang dia dapatkan ialah:
Dari penjualan G: 10 G * 21.5 GRD/G = 215 GRD
Dari pembelian G: 215 GRD / 20.2 GRD/G = 10.64 G (pembulatan)
Dari siklus tersebut, maka dia memperoleh uang tambahan berupa 0.64 G (selisih modal awal dan hasil akhir)
Cara ini biasa dilakukan di negara-negara yang kondisinya sering berubah (karena perebutan wilayah high resource, dll).

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
