利益相关:某前任外交部长时代的怀念者。
接下来的内容可能包含负能量,接下来所有结论没有精确的调查数据支持。

在之前的讨论中,我们提到了关于在新人潮和死人潮中,经济状况的一些不同。
容易被人忽视的一点在于,经济的状况也会对人的判断造成影响,乃至得出一些符合短期的经济数据,但是并不符合长期的经济规律的结论。
例如,在新人潮的状况中,许多人经常会对用户结合更少第一类资源的状况,得出“第一类资源是游戏的发展动力,而用户是一种永续的资源”的错误结论,而完全忽视了可能到来的死人潮的风险。
事实上,无论处于哪个阶段,【引理 1】都发挥着重要的作用,而维持人口的主要动力则源于无法被量化的第三类资源中。
在新人潮的状况中,对人口发挥作用的主力是关于招收人口的(外向型的)人力资源;而在死人潮的状况中,重心则在于如何维持人口和共同体关系方面。
——那么,由于第三类资源也基于人口,随着人口的上涨人口的维持能力也会增强吗?
事实上,第三类资源和第二类资源并不是对应的,甚至和人口的数量也不是对应的。作为一个非数值性的资源,它取决于的并不是仅仅是经济的数值,而更多取决于线下的关系。
此外,即使是在外向型的状态下,对人口招收的汲取也绝不可能是一个无限大的数值。在之后的论述中,我们将会提到这个问题。

——既然主力是人的话,为什么要把这么多的精力用来讨论关于经济数值的话题呢?
简单的说,无论是模拟游戏还是现实生活,都是一个在通过各种手段进行资源的再分配的过程。
从经济的再分配意义上而言,三类资源是推动游戏运转核心的动力;二类资源制约人力资源发挥的能力;而一类资源则是再分配的对象,附着于玩家作为储备,作为再分配的能力(权力)的代表。
工厂主能从工人的工作中得利、穿着好装备的人能够打出更多的伤害,不在于工人对工厂主的敬畏或是装备的时髦程度,而在于在工厂中、在装备中凝聚的一类资源所能提供的再分配能力。
再分配的激烈表现形式是外交,进一步则是可以描述为战争。战争是直接就领土上附着的再分配权进行的。
一般而言,国家和外交的产生来源于战争,而不是相反。
当然,就E-sim而言,实质上的国家和游戏内标注的国家并不相同。游戏中标注为不同的国家可能实质上属于同一个共同体,而游戏内同一个国家则也不一定是一个稳定的共同体。

关于e-sim中国家的起源,我在这里或许不能做出一个比较普适的定论。
——或者从某种意义上来看,在这里数量不少的读者所接触的eC,和现实历史中的中国似乎有着相似之处。拥有悠久的历史和辉煌的过去,然而当它醒来时,继承的只有记忆,如同一个婴儿被猛地抛入一群成人之中,重新从世界的边缘重新寻找自己的位置。
作为后一个时代来到eC的玩家,我所能从眼见中的世界了解到的也只能是我所在的时代的eC所处的情势。而对于史料并不齐全的部分,我希望寻求大家的帮助收集,但也会试着通过不完整的史料得到接近真相的答案。
在这里,做为编者的我先通过假定将eC的源起定在了大约在D100的时间节点,第二次的兴起定在了大约D800的时间点;并非试图否定在此之前eC建设者的尝试和努力,只是试着对一个真正有自主权和自主能力的国家做出定义。

这里,暂时跳出一下游戏内的视野,考虑一下游戏外的操作者对于游戏的视点。
对于一个模拟类游戏,玩家最初获得一系列推动它进入游戏开始游玩的过程:探索游戏的每一部分的新鲜感、对建立合作关系的期盼、或是某个既定的目标的愿望,这一系列将成为推动游戏进程的原初动力
随着投入时间将其转化成游戏中的第三类资源,并从中获得一定的反馈,玩家开始建立自己在模拟游戏中的地位和价值,并通过若干目标作为继续游戏进程的动力。
之后,随着玩家之间关系的确立,团体的归属感将部分玩家置入各个小共同体中,并将此作为维持稳定秩序的基石。共同体的关系程度有紧有疏,而需要用于维持关系的玩家精力也随之变化。然而玩家的总精力投入量是有限的,因此团体的规模也只能限制在一定的额度。
随着时间的推移,原初动力逐渐被消耗和转化成维持稳定团体的秩序,并不断从外界汲取新的动力进行补充。取决于目标,玩家间的竞争也可能成为刺激性的动力。
最后要提到的是,理性伴随着对原有认知解构,而伴随解构一切原有认知带来的虚无主义则是自杀性的。当群体开始认为这个游戏只是无意义的数据的时候,共同体就丧失了对培育新成员的兴趣,不再会产生新的成员。在短时间内它或许并不会立即衰退,但将会逐渐耗散其动力。从某种意义上来说,支撑游戏流程的往往不是理性的因素,而是近乎信仰的因素。
——当然,或者说显然,这一系列文章也是一种对原有认知的解构,或许说某种意义上的负能量。

新人潮的原因可能有若干种,好奇驱动的探索欲望,民族主义的竞争情绪,乃至其他小团体人情关系的影响。
然而,死人潮却具有相似的特征。随着原初动力被消耗,当老人发现自己的日常不再能带来任何推动,当新人始终无法找到自己在共同体中的位置,虚无主义就会自然地开始蔓延。
——从这一点上,研究曾经的衰落就显得十分必要。
然而,需要注意的是,热衷于解构本身就是正在衰落的特征,正如当重新考虑两国的友谊时两国的友谊往往已经走到接近尽头。未雨绸缪从来只可能是少数——伴随无数的误判和谬误。能够依靠的往往只是积久以来的传统,而我们的历史似乎还不足以教会我们在任何情况下做出正确的判断。

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.


In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.


You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).


At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
