First of all, let me express my sincerest gratitude for those 103 players that filled my long and boring survey . I expected far less people to take that trouble. Naturally i'm very glad to have underestimated you.

But since it's a long article even without introduction then i'll try to cut the chit-chat and here we go with what i believe the poll managed to give some answers to.

--- --- ---

What markets people use?

25% of the participants are mostly using #strade for their transactions. Other 70% are using country markets, 5% are doing business in another way. Most used country markets according to the 103 participants are:

Philippines (9%)
Poland (7%), Lithuania (7%)
USA (6%)
Ireland (4%), France (4%), Brazil (4%), China (4%)
Serbia (3%), Bulgaria (3%), Italy (3%), Israel (3%), Estonia (3%)
Greece (2%), Sweden (2%), India (2%)
Iran (1%), Latvia (1%), Mexico (1%), United Kingdom (1%), Japan (1%)

How much pure cash have people ever held on their accounts?

23% of the participants - over 500 gold (but less than 1000)
22% - over 200 gold (but less than 500)
19% - between 51 and 100 gold
15% - over 100 gold (but less than 200)
7% - between 10 and 50 gold
6% - over 1000 gold (less than 2000)
5% - over 2000 gold (less than 3000)
3% - over 3000 gold (less than 5000)
2% - over 5000 gold

None of the participants declared they've never had more than 10 gold on their account. Ofc everyone makes their own judgements but looking at these stats i was actually kinda surprised how rich our active players are. Well done!

Approximately how much do people earn in a week?

Again i was really surprised to see how well people have secured themselves. Not all but some of course.

34% of the participants earn between 20 - 50 gold per week.
32% earn 11 - 20 gold every week.
12% earn between 5 and 10 golds per week.
8% between 50 - 100 golds per week.
Another 8% declared to earn less than 5 gold per week.
3% earn over 100 gold (less than 150g) every week.
1% earn over 150 gold (but less than 200g), another 1% earns over 200g (but less than 300g) and another 1% earns over 300 (but less than 500) gold every week.
None of the participants declared to earn more than 500 gold per week.

--- --- ---

Approximately how much do people spend in a week?

28% spend between 20 and 50 gold every week.
23% spend between 5-10 gold a week.
16% between 11 and 20 gold a week.
12% of the participants spend less than 5g a week.
8% spend nothing at all. Good job!
6% spend 50 - 100 gold and another 6% spend over 100 (but less than 150) gold per week.
1% spends over 150 (but less than 200) gold per week.
Another 1% spends over 500 (but less than 1000, thank goodness) gold every week.

--- --- ---

How do people get payed for their work?

The big majority, 65% of the participants, work for military units to get resources for fighting. 19% work "legally" for currency and 17% "under the table" for gold. 2 active players in 3 are basically mercenaries, another surprise for me.

How do people rank e-Sim's economic module?

Average grade from 103 participants came out to be 3.4. I wouldn't be satisfied with such ranking if i was the Admin . But fortunately or unfortunately i'm not and the one that IS our Admin has absolute freedom to either kill or liven up the progress. Whatever he decides is the best.

If you know what i mean.

Oh and I would also like to congratulate dane , who is now the staff champion for 2nd month in a row. Keep up the good work!

See ya guys, you're the greatest!!

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
