EBOLA, infermiere contagiato in Texas curò il paziente morto a Dallas
Un operatore sanitario che aveva curato Thomas Duncan, il paziente contagiato dal virus ebola morto a Dallas (Texas), è risultato positivo ai test preliminari. Lo ha annunciato il commissario del Dipartimento dei servizi sanitari del Texas, David Lakey. «Il secondo caso di contagio potrebbe essere realtà e ci stiamo preparando a questa possibilità», ha detto Lakey. L’operatore sanitario dell’Ospedale presbiteriano di Dallas aveva accusato sintomi compatibili con il virus venerdì sera ed era stato messo in isolamento. Quello di Duncan era stato il primo caso di ebola diagnosticato negli Usa.
L’infermiere è risultato positivo all’Ebola in un test preliminare condotto da laboratorio statale di salute pubblica di Austin», precisa un comunicato del Dipartimento dei servizi per la salute (Dshs) dello stato del Texas. «Test di conferma saranno condotti dai Centri per il controllo e la prevenzione delle malattie di Atlanta».

Ucraina, Putin ordina ritiro truppe. Incontro con Poroshenko a Milano
Il presidente russo Vladimir Putin ha ordinato il ritiro delle truppe russe dalla frontiera con l'Ucraina. Lo annuncia il Cremlino, spiegando che «il capo dello stato ha incaricato il ministro della difesa di cominciare a far rientrare le truppe nelle loro basi permanenti». Sono 17.600 i soldati impegnati dall'estate nelle manovre nella regione di Rostov, nel sud della Russia.
Incontro Poroshenko-Putin E' di ieri la notizia che il presidente ucraino Petro Poroshenko incontrerà Putin a margine del summit euroasiatico Asem in programma a Milano il 16-17 ottobre, nel tentativo di consolidare l'ancora precario processo di pace nell'est del Paese. Lo ha annunciato lui stesso in una visita a Kharkiv, ipotizzando un formato allargato rispetto a quello nato lo scorso giugno a margine delle celebrazioni dello sbarco in Normandia, che includerebbe non solo la cancelliera tedesca Angela Merkel e il presidente francese Francois Hollande, ma anche il premier italiano Matteo Renzi - padrone di casa e presidente di turno della Ue - il primo ministro britannico David Cameron ed altri leader europei.
Il gas I colloqui, ha aggiunto, riguarderanno inoltre la sospensione delle forniture di gas russo all'Ucraina, materia di trattativa a Berlino il 21 ottobre. «Non mi aspetto negoziati facili» ma «sono ottimista», ha confessato alla vigilia di una settimana che potrebbe essere decisiva per stabilizzare la pace nell'est ucraino, dove si continua a morire nonostante la tregua. Martedì a Parigi è previsto anche un incontro sullo stesso dossier tra il ministro degli Esteri russo, Serghiei Lavrov, e il segretario di Stato Usa, John Kerry: un ulteriore segnale di distensione.
Le sanzioni Sarà il primo faccia a faccia tra i due leader dopo la firma degli accordi di Minsk del 5 settembre per il cessate il fuoco e una soluzione politica alla crisi. Con un nuovo e maggiore coinvolgimento dell'Europa, dopo un negoziato a due tra Cremlino e presidenza ucraina. Per Putin, inoltre, sarà la prima occasione per rompere il suo isolamento in Occidente, a sanzioni ancora vigenti. Sanzioni che fanno sentire i loro effetti su un'economia sempre più stagnante, ma anche sulle imprese europee. Come hanno raccontato i dirigenti di Confindustria Russia - filiale di quella italiana - e alcuni imprenditori del Belpaese alla delegazione leghista sbarcata venerdì a Mosca per dire «no alle sanzioni alla Russia», frase diventata lo slogan delle magliette del Carroccio distribuite sulla Piazza Rossa.

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
