Hey guys, back with an interview. Yesterday i talked to janniemoney (who apparently is now a staff member) to see how or whether he shares the vision of Admin to reset this server.

I'd also like to urge you all to participate in our resistance, VOTE, READ and WRITE articles about it. Help THIS article global. THIS also. Share the articles, share your opinions about reset. This is the ultimate time to resist, yet global is almost dead. We can change it if we only try. Have a nice reading!

1. Cheers janniemoney , an experienced player and now a Game Operator.
1. Thanks.

2. First of all, when were you appointed as GO? I think people might know your name from here and there but these latest staff news have kinda passed us all in the light of some bigger issues.
2. I think about 3 weeks ago i got appointed as a GO and i am not the only GO who has been appointed the past few weeks which i guess no one knew about.

3. Who else did we get? Can you tell us about some things that have been happening in these past weeks?
3. Well, warrior89 got appointed just a few days before me, el_cid got promoted to SGO and we have some guys who are trail GOs atm.

4. Someone must've forgotten to inform us then. The topic that we can't get around atm is obviously the approaching reset which makes every other topic pointless since in a week everything that there is to talk about will be wiped. What's your stand on it? Yes or no?
4. Hahaha well, its both i guess. I mean i like new countries even if they become PTO prey, and updates always get things moving. But i do not really like to lose my eco. skill.

5. How much are you talking about the upcoming reset in the staff and how much is it affecting your work?
5. As much as any other players whould i guess, and we are getting a lot of questions about the reset.

6. What are the main issues people come to you about?
6. These days about what they will lose and keep after the reset.

7. Do you think reset will be beneficial for the game, for the Admin, for the players or someone else?
7. Everyone except for the older players but only if railman has found a way to keep newbies.

8. Will you change anything about how you play this game after reset?
8. I don't think so although i hope i will be promoted so i can really help the players. I dont like to play the judge.

9. What made you decide to join the staff? What was the process of how you got accepted?
9. Well at the time the staff IRC channel was almost dead. And the share problem is something i would like to work on. Also the ticket system is kind of slow.
About how i joined, at first i reacted on every shout by the staff when they were scouting new members. When i didn't hear back from them i went to the staff channel and talked a bit with Anqa . After that i became a trail GO, and a month ahead i was a GO.

10. Thank you for this short interview, janniemoney , I appreciate your time. Best of luck in game and in rl!
10. The same to you, ow and dont quit will ya?

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
