Starting out you are going to quickly notice you are poor as poop. You may want to quit or complain about this unfair world you've been thrown into. Or if you're smart you'll find this guide on how to cheat the system or make some quick money fast.
First Law to Remember: A dollar saved is a dollar earned. In practice you can save a lot of money by not paying for food and allowing the govt to do that for you. You can do this by joiningIRC when supplies are available. This can save you around $30 to $100+ a day.
Preferably you at least are buying your max Q5 food per day. Any less and you won't make the XP for leveling up. Leveling up is very important in this game, 1) you get 5 gold 2) It makes you look like you know what you're doing. Many players who've played a lot longer than I have a lot less XP than I do. Why? Cause they are 2 clickers that can even spare 5mins to buy food or get free goodies from the govt. These are the worst kinds of people, not only are they not asking for handouts they aren't even helping the US or themselves.
Even if you're just starting out Q5s are cheap enough that you can buy a majority of your limits daily. This may be crap for a week or a month, but soon you can buy your max and save a few bucks.
Second Law to Remember: Keep gold liquid*for starters
Gold is a great currency, and there are many types of investment opportunities for it. A few are reselling companies, equipment reselling, and money market trading.
Now why is it better to keep in liquid instead of inside a stock or USD. Well sadly the monetary market can move slowly and having gold as gold in an instant can get you an amazing deal. At least once a week I find a deal of someone mispricing some products in a random market for a very low rate. I quickly grab it and resell it. If I didn't have gold to transfer into cold hard cash instantly I wouldn't be able to grab that deal. Another reason is some markets are very unstable, luckily the US market is stable and the transfer rate is very predictable. This of course has it's flaws, if you need to transfer from usd to gold or vice versa it'll take time to get a good rate or you can lose a percentage on the exchange for speediness. An advantage of these types of markets is scabbing off of people trading at lower rates and re-selling the same currency at the standard rate for a small gain.
Gold is speed basically. It allows for quick purchases in strade and in regular markets.
Third law to Remember:Find nice Patriots.
This is very important, there are many people who will help you out financially or just give you a better paying job to keep US or whatever nation you live in strong.
I am not one of those people, but I'm happy to list one of my main favorites for getting free goodies.

met3_ gave me my first job and even got me into an elite MU. met3_ also helped pay for my Q5 house. I of course returned that money after I found I had enough. But he is someone you can rely on to give you the better end of the stick. He takes losses sometimes but has the industry to back up his goodness. Definitely someone you want on your friends list. This ends part 1 of my guide, I will probably go into more detail in later editions and cause myself to lose money on educating the masses. Sadly I have nothing better to write up and it's been a while since I wrote something valid.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
