This is not an article to run for presidency, in fact i do not care of this post or medal. It is more an attempt for a political program that can be taken by any active player(s) in Finland.
For nearly two month now, I am Finnish. I got a more accurate opinion of the country and here are my remarks.
The main fact, for me, is population. Finland is one of the smallest country in the game. Recently, Admin made a babyboom for the country. The population increased from 40 to more than 250. What is the result ? Almost every new players left. Now the population is 45, without the recently accepted citizenships, the population is declining.
So the program must be linked to the welcoming of newcomers.
1. Social / Community :
A beginner need to talk/get advices to stay
-Promote the channel #esim.fl on IRC
-Made a forum/promote it : maybe it already exist. It's a task for a Finnish. It's also important for politics : to ask questions to government, to discuss about laws between congressmen.
2. Economics
A beginner need a good start in the game
-As Finland org may earn some money with Oulu, it'll be possible to use it for a MU for beginners and to get some companies to give them a pack.
-A local market with goods : a beginner want to buy some foods/gifts + weaps. For these I think a tax free market on goods is the best way. It's actually close to with 3% only on goods. So it won't be a big change to go to 0%. Actually there's only Q1 tickets at more than 2G (price strade : 0.041g) and Q3 food at 0.21G (price strade 0.035g) !
-If finland org got a decent production, it should post on it or, just buy stuff on strade to put it on the market.
A beginner need a good economic environment
-The org may win money with taxes on labour. Today the FIM is at a high rate : 0.5g. What were the good exchange rate ? Finland org must stabilize this (Finland org inactive for 26days today !) Income tax at 6% is good, maybe we can go a bit higher. With such price of money, the goods market and the job market cannot work. If the companies are not active, the taxes are very low.
-For production : companies owned by the org are : Q4 diamonds at Oulu, Q5 food in southern Finland (problem not a high grain :/), Q1 ticket in Lapland (problem no high oil), Q4 DS in Gotaland, Q1 weapons in Western Finland (problem not high iron).
=> Only the Q4 diamond is at a good place ! We should try so sell/downgrade the Q5 food to buy another one in a high region. Same for Q1 ticket. Same for Q1 weaps. The Q4 DS is to high : we can downgrade it to Q2 or Q3, with a Q4 many slots are taken and there's usually a big overkill on the round with DS. So we need at first a Q3 gift to use diamonds (very lucrative market), a Q5 food for beginners, an iron comp Q5 and some Q1 weaps. Then later : upgrade diamonds, buy grain Q5, ticket company Q1.
3. Wars
Actually we are lucky because of the situation of Poland. It is possible to free the country but it is lso necessary to look further.
Military units :
-The most active MU is Snowstorm, which seems private. It's an Elite. It would be good to fill in this one first. Then there's public veteran with many inactive people. It is possible to welcome beginners here.
-It would be great that people in public MU work for public companies.
DS:
-I'm not sure that it would be a good idea to put DS on our territories, maybe only on Oulu because it's expansive. The most important is long term.
4. Diplomacy
-On this side, we can find common interest with other countries in war with Poland : Sweden, Lithuania, Russia, Estonia...

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
