Okay, I lied about fighting and disabled the comments.
I wrote this article for new players and to make the game a better place, to motivate new players at least somewhat. What ever your arguments might be - and they might be good and truthful - you can't just start a fight in the comments of a newbie-article and think that's OK. No hard feelings toward anyone but this sh*t's gotta go! Take your disagreements elsewhere.
So a week ago
lokiju wrote his 10 "commandments" which basically contained 10 different ways to steal and get away with it. The staff deleted the article for promotion of cheating and i can't say i blame them too much - we'd all like to see a fair game where honest players won't get suppressed and oppressed by dishonest ones. Well, us the honest players would like it anyways.
I'm sure we all know from both real life and e-sim as well that if a guy really wants to cheat he can do it and get away with it pretty easily. But the question is - at what cost and do the benefits truly weight it off?
Stealing rarely comes with no reactions from the community whatsoever. Communication is very important when playing this game and if you steal from someone you better be ready to lose their trust and respect, even become despised. I've seen it happen to many scammer. WHAT is the point of playing this game if nobody wants to talk to you? Even if you're rich like our recently-voted-best-businessman
chillyzeis is it would still be pointless if you can't do anything with those resources because people are ignoring you and don't wanna make business with you.
Besides, stealing doesn't REALLY get you rich. If you do it over and over again and make more and more enemies by doing so it can but then you've already become hated by everyone and it kinda loses its point, as i already pointed out. You can only scam a couple of hundred golds at a time if you're lucky - more would simply get too much attention on you and eventually someone WILL find a way to ban you from this game. Don't forget that the staff has the ability to mute/ban ANYONE for ANYTHING without ANY explanations. I've also seen that happen to people - they simply stole or destroyed too much of the game and had to face hard responsibilities, even though they didn't actually "break any rules".
So pissing the staff off by scamming dozens and hundreds of people would simply be stupid. But if your whole function in this game is to find new scams that will bring in a hundred/ two hundreds at once (if lucky), then WHAT IS THE POINT of playing that way anyways? You can easily find another hobby that is honest, does not piss people off and what's most important - is MORE profitable. Because as you grow older that 100-200 will not really be that much anymore - even if you work and collect for 100 days at a low salary you should be able to collect 100 golds from working, start your own business (whatever that would be) and start gaining extra profits. Unless you spend more than you earn of course, in that way no one can help you.

Which means: open your company, buy some stocks, make a newspaper, deal with equip - whatever, just do what you can't do in the real life because this is what e-sim is for!

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
