I am here today to introduce some possible government programs and cultural events to see which ones our citizens might be interested in.
Before I start, let me mention that I am a longtime politician from another game's eJapan. While my profile here might be young, most of the programs and ideas I will write about have been operating elsewhere for quite a while.
First up are a couple extra Ministries to run everything. Some might be familiar to you while some might be new.
Ministry of Education
A very basic ministry that every ecountry has in order to educate new citizens. eJapan, however is in a somewhat unique position. Alot of foreigners (myself included) are attracted to this country for its culture and media, and usually end up forming the bulk of ejapan's citizens. This means that the MoE can do something others wouldn't.... Educate citizens about their own country! This means language lessons, cooking lessons, and many other things that our players would be interested in about Japan.
Ministry of Culture and History
This Ministry is already being discussed, but lets rehash it shall we. The MoCH was a very popular ministry where I come from. In fact, even if all the other ministries were defunct due to lazy CPs or Ministers, the MoCH would still be running. As you can tell from the title, this ministry has a dual purpose as a record keeper and creator of Japanese cultural events. In the next section, I'll have alot to write about in regards to those events.
Ministry of Internal Affairs
This is the most vague but potentially useful ministry for the government. The MoIA is primarily tasked with multihunting and looking over the shoulders of other ministers to make sure they are getting their job done. That second task also leads some CPs to appoint experienced Ministers that will serve as advisers for the other Ministries. As a primarily security based ministry though it is also possible to merge the MoIA with the Ministry of Security, that is tasked with keeping an eye on immigration. Whether they should be one Ministry or two will likely be a nice little debate in the future.
Events
language Lessons
Starting off with the most difficult program, Japanese language lessons would be placed under the MoE. This is the most difficult program to create because of the need for a dedicated speaker of both Japanese and another well known language such as English. The name really says it all, so rather than a long description I would just like to see if everyone would be interested in this. I am actually able to teach alot of the basics for reading, writing, and grammar, but after a certain point we'd need a more advanced speaker.
Japanese Cooking Lessons
Another MoE program for those that want to learn various things about Japan. What I like about this program is that since it would be an e-sim player making the lessons, then most of the ingredients and cooking methods would tend to be simple and easy to find/make. P.S. Omurice are delicious
Families and Clans
This is a large Roleplay program with alot of future potential. The basis of the system is to create a Family Registry that is officially recognized by the eJapan government. Record keeping would fall under the MoCH's authority, but the program tends to be too large for a single minister to govern. Either a team of a couple MoCH personnel or two Ministries would be needed. I don't want to throw too much information at you all at once so I'll write the full explanation for this program in another article if there is interest. Essentially, every citizen of eJapan is able to join a family and groups of families can create clans. There are special games and events tied to it, such as the Prestige System that encourages players to become soldiers and politicians. It really is rather large and complex, not only by itself but because it is a basis for a large group of other roleplay programs such as this next one
Daimyo System
There are actually two versions of this roleplay program that can be enacted, but both are based around players being able to compete for the position of Daimyo (feudal lord) of a Japanese region. The first program is tied to the family and clan system I mentioned above. In this version, the families with alot of Prestige points (another part of the same program) would be able to choose one of their members to become the Daimyo of a region and would then have to defend their position from other families through a complex game based on their Prestige. The second version of the program is military based in honor of Japan's famous Warring States era. In this version, the Daimyo is chosen for his damage contributions to eJapan's war efforts and are more likely to be chosen for Daimyo if they are the top fighter in defense of one of our regions. Both versions have their pros and cons. The first version requires alot of people to oversee it but is more complex and potentially fun, while the second version is much more streamlined and easy to understand, but makes it difficult for lower strength and non-paying players to become a daimyo. Again, I can make a full article devoted to explaining the details of this program if there is interest (I actually helped create the first version I mentioned).
This is the first article in a group of two or three that I am going to write in order to introduce some programs/events I am familiar with. (I get tired of writing pretty quick these days so i can't do it all in one sitting )
And now we end this thing with some cute 2D girls. Be sure to leave a comment about what you think of these programs/events.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
