Today we celebrate the national day of the Netherlands: Kings day!
I, as the 'King" of the Netherlands, am proud to announce several events, but first I would like to do some preparations.
As I couldn't live with the idea that the Netherlands are occupied meanwhile this orange day, the first thing I would like to do is to set the first stap towards a little bit of orange on the map again.
That's why I'm declaring the first event of today as opened!
Event 1. A resistance war in our capital North Holland-Utrecht has been started. As we want to have our party in Amsterdam as we have usual, we'll have to free it! As the king of the Netherlands, I am giving 50 Gold to the one who does the most damage in this battle!!! Link to the battle in North Holland-Utrecht!
To make it a little more complex than that, there are some extra "game rules" added to it.
1. Your damage only counts on the side of the Netherlands! (duh )
2. The damage you do will be changed into points. Example: If you do 1.000.000 damage, then you'll have 1.000.000 points.
Bonus points: 3. If a battle ends in a 40%vs60% or closer (like 48%vs52%, and that is in favor of the Netherlands) that means it was a difficult round, so every damage made a diffrence, then you'll get a bonus of 10%. Example: You've done 1.000.000 damage in a round which ended in 44%vs56% which is won by the Netherlands, you'll get 1.100.000 points.
4. When destroying a Defensive System of the enemy, you'll gain the percentage that the enemy gets as a bonus damage, as bonus to your points. Example: You do 1.000.000 damage in a round with a q4 DS for the enemy, you'll get a bonus of 20% which will give you 1.200.000 points.
5. Clutching increases your points with a bonus of 20%. Example: A round ends in 9.500.000 at the French side and 10.000.000 at the Dutch side. You've done 1.000.000 on t-2. The damage you did is MORE then the diffrence in damage between the 2 sides, which means you did a clutch. You'll gain, in this case, 1.200.000 points.
Minus points: 6. If a battle ends 40%vs60% or a bigger diffrence (like 26%vs74%, and that is in favor of the Netherlands) that means that your damage most likely was a waste. This results in a reducement of 10% in points. Example: You've done 1.000.000 damage in a round that ended in 33%vs67% in favor of the Netherlands, you'll gain 900.000 points.
7. The damage you did in a lost round, will reduce the points you get for that round with 25%. Example: If you hit 1.000.000 damage in a lost round, you'll only get 750.000 points for that round.
8. If you've done damage on the enemy side, that damage will be changed into points, times 5 and will be deducted from your points. Example: You've done a total of 6.000.000 damage, 1.000.000 on the French side and 5.000.000 on the Dutch side. 1.000.000*5=5.000.000. 5.000.000-5.000.000 leaves a total of zero points for you, so watch out for fighting on the enemy side
Remember: we can only look into the top-10 damage. It's unfortunate, but if you do not make it to the top-10 we can't give you any points.
Tips:
Fight t-2, win rounds, make it to the top-10, when possible destroy a Defensive System AND WIN THAT 50Gold !!
BUT WAIT: I'm not done yet!
In honour to our RL king Willem-Alexander, you'll get one other possibility to turn the points you'll earn by fighting in this battle into gold!
Because: If you wear a Dutch avatar (this can be a picture of our king, of the Dutch flag, something orange, some nice Dutch ladies in orange clothes or whatever, you'll get 0.2 Gold for each 1.000.000 points you've earned! Just sent a message to the Netherlands Org that you want your gold, and we'll look into your dealt damage
So... you tought that this was it? Got to dissapoint you It wouldn't be a real fun event if we wouldn't be so kind to give you one last oppertunity to gain additional gold, would it?
We'll pick the most funny, original and coolest avatar of all out, and the designer (or the best google-searcher ) that wears that avatar will get an additional 10 gold Isn't that fun?!
That was it for this event... More will follow soon!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
Take part in numerous events for the E-Sim community.
