Considering all the questions you've had for me about it I'm sure you all know that as of last week I'm Irish! Why? If I told you I'd have to kill you. You'll see in less than a month.
I haven't been doing my interviews for some time. I plan on changing that. Just PM me about great persons to interview and I'll take your lead. My hope is to make this series main part of my newspaper once again. And of course I'll start with my own president - Federico Rosenfeld .
1. Hello Mr. President! 1. Hello!
2. You're not rl Irish. How did you find your way to Ireland and how did you gain native's trust? 2. Interesting question. I first came to Ireland "invited" by some other Spanish friends who were already there. I remember my first shout as Irish: "proud to be irish" and a cold comment from some RL irish. That made me doubt a little about what I expected (a warm welcome) from the "natives". Some called us PTOers, though we were not. Then came the "gold donation" and things went even worse, as now we were not only "PTOers" but thieves. Time passed and the gold was finally sent back to Irish orgs but the relationship between spaniard-irish and the so-called "true irish" (many of them were not RL irish as well) had been deeply harmed.
Then last summer, my friend MartinnSidk ran for irish CP. He told me he wanted me as MoD. I first refused, but finally accepted the "challenge". My experience as irish MoD helped me to gain confidence for running for CP two months later. I picked DUB as MoE, he is RL irish and one of the most respected players in Ireland. That helped a lot of the rest of RL irish and even the so-called "true irish" trust me as CP.
3. What have Spanish done for Ireland? And explain the "Gold donation" you talked about. 3. Irish-spaniards became military elite almost immediately as they joined the country . Most of them were part of my MU which was then leaded by Mac Vasco and got irish nationality too. So we were kind of an army of super-soldiers compared to most of native irish. Moreover, we provided spanish dmg from spanish MUs as well in any wars Ireland was involved in. So I think we helped quite a lot.
The donation: In fact it was two donations of IEP and gold from the national treasury to one of the irish-spanish players. That was 10 months ago and for long we were called thieves for doing that. Not all of us agreed with that donation, it really surprised me when I came up to irish wall and read all those damned comments calling us thieves and the ilk. Fortunately, "Spanish PTOers" leaders finally decided to send the money back to national treasury two months later or so. But the relationship between both "communities" went really bad because of that
4. Who were the "Spanish PTOers" and what happened to them? Is Spanish-Irish community still divided like that? 4. There was no real division, only a discussion about the fact whether we had done the right thing or not. The origin of that decision was to teach the "true irish" a lesson about what real PTOers do. Most "Spanish PTOers" were members of my MU, then leaded by Mac Vasco . And some other guys from other MUs, we were around 20 active citizens then. So our "political weight" in a small country like Ireland was really high at that time. Besides we used to work together, we were disciplined and worked as a whole in any decisions, military or political. Therefore our force and influence was huge, to say the least.
5. How many Spanish-irish and how many rl Irish players are there in Ireland? Any PTOers? 5. Most of those spaniards who became irish during that "immigration wave" are still irish but some of them became inactive. We might include some Portuguese players too who helped and were part of our project, like former CP MartinnSidk . So I calculate around 8-10 active iberian-irish citizens at this moment.
RL irish players... their figures have grown some during last months. I think they might be at around 20, including some people from Northern Ireland, at this moment.
No PTOers now (providing you are not one of them ofc). We had some noisy turkish PTOers some months ago but they failed hard when trying to be congressmen and finally left completely demoralized.
Well, I am not sure if they are 20... probably not so many. 15 RL irish active citizens maybe... Ireland is a strange country where citizens go active and inactive, then active again during the congress elections, etc.
I used to study the citizens carefully when we were in risk of being PTOed, so I know more or less who are really active and who come and go.
6. What does a president of Ireland have to look out for nowadays? 6. Most of all, keep our good relationships with allies from World Task Force, watch our frontiers with UK and USA (now Canada) and watch our wealth grow. And ofc expect for a Baby Boom some day that makes Ireland a super-power.
7. How long have you been Irish and do you still take part of what's going on in Spain? 7. I have been Irish for 10 months now and ofc I look closely at everything happening in Spain. current spanish CP is a member of my MU as well.
8. Do you intend to candidate for CP next month and do you have specific plans for this one? 8. I am probably running for CP next month. My plans for what is left of this month is keep our frontiers safe and our economy running on bringing new citizens to Ireland would be awesome ofc, but that's a harder objective at short term.
9. One more serious question: Is there any chance for a native Irish player to become president of Ireland? And would Spain still support the country if that happened? 9. Sure there is: nowadays spanish-irish are quite integrated in irish community. So the division that was in the past is almost forgotten. Btw there are more irish from other countries too - Lithuania, Croatia, Wales, Italy. In fact two months ago Marcus Suridius (RL irish) ran for CP. Any irish CP who works for Ireland will have support from spanish-irish community as DUB had some time ago too. We can say we are working together.
10. Name 3 great Irish celebrities. 10. Don't know many of them to tell the truth. I can only think of Bono, U2 vocalist. And ofc the character of Kubrick's awesome film, Barry Lindon. Some politicians come to my mind too, but I prefer to keep them away from this interview. Oh and that singer, Enya. She has a beautiful voice.
11. Thank you for this awesome interview, Mr President! *cough* liam *cough* neeson 11. yeah, you are right, and I forgot Jonathan Swift too. I love "Gulliver's travels". Thanks to you!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
