kali ini, J-Newspaper bakal mengulas tentang fakta menarik dari "GOOGLE" yang jarang di ketahui khalayak banyak. Sering menggunakan google, tapi jarang yg tau ttg fakta ini.
Tanpa memperpanjang muqaddimah, marilah dengan seksama kita simak berita dibawah ini. hehe.
GOOGLE :
Sejak didirikan pada tanggal 04 September 1998 lalu, sampai sekarang, Google tercatat sebagai salah satu perusahaan dengan penghasilan tahunan terbesar di dunia.
Tentunya, dari tahun tersebut sampai sekarang, google mempunyai beberapa fakta fakta unik. yaitu :
1. Tidak seperti perusahaan-perusahaan lainnya, Google baru membuka Initial Public Offering pertamanya adalah tanggal 19 Agustus 2004, padahal perusahaan ini didirikan pada tanggal 04 September 1998.
2. Hampir semua karyawan di Google disebut dengan nama Googler, sedangkan untuk para karyawan baru dengan sebutan Noogler.
3. Berdasarkan Alexa, Google merupakan website paling sering digunakan di seluruh dunia.
4. Versi awal Google dikembangkan di Stanford dan hanya dapat menganalisis 30 sampai 50 halaman saja dalam satu detik. Namun sekarang meningkat untuk dapat menganalisis jutaan halaman per detik.
5. Google pernah digugat oleh salah seorang Sales Executive mereka yaitu Christina Elwell. Dia mendapatkan diskriminasi di pekerjaannya karena sedang mengandung.
6. Untuk masalah hitungan pemakaian permenitnya, Google masih kalah dengan Facebook.
7. Alamat pertama Google di internet adalah Google.stanford.edu.
8. Twit Google di account resminya di Twitter adalah "I'm 01100110 01100101 01100101 01101100 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01101100 01110101 01100011 01101011 01111001 00001010. In February 2004. Which is binary for I'm feeling lucky."
9. Di tahun 2007, Forbes menobatkan Google sebagai tempat untuk untuk kerja terbaik di seluruh Amerika Serikat.
10. Di bulan Juni 2006, kata Google menjadi kata paling sering digunakan di Word 2002 dan pada bulan Juni 2006, kata Google telah ditambahkan dalam Oxford English Dictionary (OED).
11. Nama Google diambil dari kata Googol yang pernah diucapkan oleh 2 orang anak perempuan bernama Milton Sirotta dan Edwin Sirotta ketika mereka sedang bermain-main.
12. Larry Page dan Sergey Brin pernah akan menjual domain Google.com seharga USD 1 juta ke Altavista.
13. Larry Page dan Sergey Brin dulunya tidak akur, namun dikarenakan memiliki persamaan visi, akhirnya mereka bekerja sama membuat satu perusahaan yang sekarang menjadi raksasa.
14. Kedua pendiri Google ini awalnya menamakan mesin pencarinya dengan nama BackRub yang berfungsi untuk meranking backlinks semua hal yang ada di internet satu persatu.
15. Database awal Google hanya sebesar 28GB saja.
16. Untuk mendirikan perusahaan, Larry Page dan Sergey Brin harus pontang-panting untuk mencari pinjaman uang agar dapat merealisasikan impian mereka tersebut.
17. Kantor pertama Google mengambil tempat di sebuah garasi mobil milik Susan Wojcicki.
18. Hanya membutuhkan waktu 3 bulan saja, Google masuk sebagai 100 website baru yang diperhitungkan di dunia.
19. Tombol "I'm feeling lucky" di Google adalah salah satu tombol besar dan terletak di posisi strategis yang amat sangat jarang digunakan.
20. Google memiliki server lebih dari 450 ribu dan tersebar hampir di setiap negara di dunia.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
