It has been a few days since you have heard from us. We thought it would be best to let things cool down a bit after everything heated up so much last couple of days. It grieves me to see that we are thought of as people who just come and claim power. Because we, like the new Beter Nederland party, are in favour of a multiple party democratic system within the sNetherlands.
As democracy is a vital good to human society, we will have the beautiful event of congress elections on the 25th of November. And your campaign, candidature and plans are as good as its weakest plan,argument or candidate. Therefore we carefully select our arguments, plans and candidates.
In a series of articles we will present our plans and opinions for the coming congressional elections. We will write every day a part for every department, the departments we cover are:
- Department of the Interior (Home Affairs)
- Department of State (Foreign Affairs)
- Department of Treasury & Commerce (Finance & Economics)
- Department of Defense
Today we will cover the D.O.I. we can already tell that our D.O.I. plans will come down to:

Department of the Interior (Affairs within the country)
Trias Politica
We are in favor of a well organized ‘Trias Politica’ myself, I already gave some suggestions to
Darryl Amsler our current Secretary of the Interior, who is currently writing our constitution. A clear distinction between the Legislative, Executive and Judicial power is important in our opinion.
Legislative Power
The Legislative Power of the sNetherlands will consist of congress, which will vote on law proposals and will check upon the Executive power, whether they are doing what congress asked them to do. They have the power to send a secretary home, or worst case a whole cabinet. Congress is being elected on the 25th of every month.
Executive Power
The executive power of the sNetherlans consist of the President and his/her cabinet. They are responsible for the daily affairs and the implementation of the laws given by congress. They will be bound by law on what their authorities are. The President is chosen on the 5th of every month. The President will choose his/her own cabinet.
Judicial Power
The Judicial power of the sNetherlands consist of 3 persons in the a ‘High Court’ the assembly is still open for discussion, but in my proposal it would be the first 3 ex-presidents, and for now 3 citizens chosen by popular vote. Who can only be replaced by internal vote of the Court or by an 80% in favor vote of Congress. Their main task is to check upon Congress whether new implemented laws are not against the current constitution, and to resolve disputes between several citizens. Because Judges need to be neutral, they cannot be part of any party and participate very little in politics.
The main point we are in favor for is a clear distinction between the three different powers and no one can take place in multiple powerhouses.

Taking care of new citizens with proper programs
The RDK , thinks that the D.O.I should initiate programs to keep new citizens playing the game, the Retention rate is very high right now. If we are able to improve this just a bit, we will have more active players. Programs that can be thought of;
- Development of Tutorials
- Introduction to the game
- Giving out some Q1 food for the first couple of days
- Coaching program
Budget for this program: 150 NLG per month (fees for food, coaches, writers etc)
Organizing the recruitment of new players
In order to compete with bigger countries, and to make ourselves strong enough to start attacking other countries, we need more citizens. This will not only benefit our military skills but also our economic strength and our political advancement. The D.O.I. will have the responsibility to achieve this.
Budget for this program: 50 NLG per month (for small fee of recruiters)
Improvement of transparency within the sNetherlands
The D.O.I is responsible to maintain a high level of transparency within the sDutch government and will have to design new plans in order to face current flaws in our transparent system.

Improvement of democracy within the sNetherlands
The D.O.I is responsible to maintain a high level of democracy within the sDutch government and will have to design new plans in order to face current flaws in our democratic system.

Media improvement
In order to get an more active media, with high quality articles the D.O.I is responsible for maintaining a high quality media stream within the sNetherlands. Options for media improvement can be organizing master classes in writing articles by experienced writers to aspiring journalists.
Another option the RDK is in favor of is the subsidizing of new media. When new players have a good plan (frequency, subject etc). D.O.I. then can subsidize the new paper fee partially or fully depending on the quality of the plan.
Budget: 6 Gold per month & 100 NLG per month (starting papers + possible fees)
Providing Information
As RDK , we are very much in favor of transparency, and therefore our plan for the D.O.I is also to be responsible for providing information to the public about current matters, seen from an government view. An article at least twice a week is necessary in an active community.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
