蝾螺也觉得鲷鱼所言甚是，正洋洋得意的时候，突然发现敌人来了，鲷鱼说：“你有坚硬的外壳，我没有，我只能用眼睛看个清楚，确知危险从哪个方向来，然后，决定要怎么逃走。”说着，鲷鱼便“咻”的一声游走了。
此刻呢，蝾螺心里在想，我有这么一身坚固的防卫系统，没人伤得了我啦！我还怕什么呢？便静静地等着。
蝾螺等呀等的，等了好长一段时间，也睡了好一阵子了，心里想：危险应该已经过去了吧！也就乐着，想探出头透透气，冒出头来一看，它立刻扯破了喉咙大叫：“救命呀！救命呀！”
此时，它正在水族箱里，外面是大街，而水族箱上贴着的是：蝾螺××元一斤。
此时，不知你的感想如何，这篇禅学寓言告诉我们：过分封闭自己或自我膨胀的人，都将丧失自我成长的机会，自陷危险之境而不自知！
同样的道理，你也听过煮青蛙的故事吧，当把一个青蛙放进一锅烧得滚烫的开水中时，它一下子就会从里面跳出来，但是把青蛙放在温水里，然后在锅底下慢慢加温，让青蛙在温水里自由地游泳。当水温慢慢升高的时候青蛙丝毫没有感觉，当它感觉到不舒服想跳出来的时候，双腿已经没有力量——它被煮熟了！
面对改变，我们时常会觉得有些不习惯，或者感觉有些压力，甚至是恐惧，可是我要告诉你：这正是你成长的时刻！
如果你不想接受这些不习惯或者压力，那么就去做你原来一直都在做的、一直都习惯做的事情，当然你也将一直是过去的你。若想要真正成长，那就要突破舒适的范围，也就是要暂时的失去安全感……所以，当你感觉自己有些不习惯，有些紧张或者压力甚至是恐惧的时候，起码要知道，你正在成长……
她离开办公桌，复印了一份资料，不过3分钟时间，一只蚂蚁爬上了她刚买的黑森林蛋糕。
那蛋糕是她的午茶点心，这下享用的兴致全无了。
她拿起叉子把蚂蚁取出，然后质问它为什么破坏她的好心情。浑身沾满奶油的蚂蚁慢条斯理地回答：“我饿了，被蛋糕的香味给吸引过来。”蚂蚁又说：“我的食量小，吃不了多少，给我一小角蛋糕，就够了。”她听了更是火大，不顾形象，指责它：“你的身份哪配跟我一起吃相同的东西？”
她告诉蚂蚁，它应该去找残余的食物，怎么可以堂而皇之与她分食。蚂蚁说：“我有我的人格，不想卑微地讨生活。”蚂蚁一脸委屈地向她说道，它想出人头地，可是天生的不平等，教它只能不起眼地过日子可是它的确不想庸庸碌碌地了此一生，所以才选择到这陌生且危险的城市。
经它这么一说，她心软了：“你不怕无法适应？”她怀疑。
“只有做过了，才知道怎么回事。光是害怕，有什么用！”蚂蚁又接着说，它不觉得它的人生只有一条路可以走，它相信它的生命充满了无限可能。
她不发一语，心情顿时复杂起来。这些年，她最大的困境，是知道自己要什么，却始终未曾付诸行动，她不懂为何迟疑，或者应该说，她怕改变。
然而，胆小的人，注定要失去生命中的种种精彩与美丽。因此，她只能原地打转，也许不会更坏，但也绝对不会更好。
回过神，她有了新的决定，同时准备把整块蛋糕送给蚂蚁。蚂蚁谢绝了她的好意，它说，它已经尝过滋味，想再去试点别的。
而她，一个新的生命规划已经成型，蓄势待发。
人生箴言：
要想获得新生活，就必须改变自己，勇于突破，而不能总是原地踏步。
成长，没你想象的那么迫切。

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
