------POLL------ Someone said that someone should make a poll about the new hit monitor - whether people like it or not. It's been one of the most discussed topics in the past days so I find it a subject I should definitely have captured. But since I'm not sure if I'm gonna write articles any more I'm taking the opportunity of using my potential last article as an empty sheet for it.
Edit: I said I was going to quit journalism because of many aspects. I'm running out of reasons now. Not only have you been really helpful, writing very nice comments, contacting me via PM and IRC and giving me a lot of love which I don't deserve a half of (I mean come on - I don't believe I'm that good at all). But also the game staff and kMeel who frankly have fixed most of the reasons for my bitterness. Even Kotera is said to be questioned. So thank you readers and kMeel and the staff. I guess this article served it's purpose to maximum extent but I'm not sure what I'm gonna do myself now. P.S. And wow, I'm really surprised and deeply honored that some players would actually 2-click without my articles.:O Seriously, what's so great about them?
-------------------
This last week has been by far my worst in e-sim. I've lost the will to play this game but I won't quit either because I'm (foolishly perhaps) hoping that things will get better again. If things will get better some day I may lose some of my bitterness and start writing again. But not now.
There's soooo many things that got to me during this past week. First of all, my last article got deleted after it had been published for a few minutes. Not by a GO but because the server crashed. After that several things happened to me - I lost a couple of equips on auctions because the server crashed at the last moment, some rounds were lost because the server crashed. One of the biggest things that happened was 2 days ago. I traveled from Hungary to Italy and did 1.7 million damage for Italy in a Italy vs Hungary battle. In the middle of my hitting we were sent the missing medkits from day 900. After that something happened. I suddenly find out that I haven't done 1.7 million for Italy like it said a minute before. No, apparently I'm still in Hungary and I've done 1 million for Italy but also a million for Hungary. Riiight.
Not one of these things really devastated me though. What got to me was that once again I had to deal with our game operators. Most of the GOs are really nice fellas, with one exception. One of the GOs I hoped I'd never have to deal with again is a guy called Kotera. His main territory is ticket system. I haven't visited it for half a year so I haven't bumped into him. Over time I had even forgotten how corrupt the guy was. But finding out once again that he's got his teeth so far in the tickets that it's even impossible to get someone else see your topic completely crushed me.
Sorry to all the GOs and everyone else I might've hurted. I'm sorry it had to go that way and I don't ever jump to conclusions but I've had plenty of experience and seen plenty of proof to call this guy corrupt. Or if not then what's this: http://tickets.e-sim.org/Bugs/view/7595
janniemoney said that all he can see in this newspaper lately is flaming flaming, flaming... if others think so too then I'd like to apologize to the game staff as I've done in almost every one of my suggestive articles. My purpose writing these articles is not to generate intrigues but to actually get things done. And things have got done so far.
Bye-bye and see ya around
P.S. Don't delete this one. I'm no threat to you, I won't be writing anything else.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
