Everything began before my second election. My government and I were determined to declare a war. UK ? Benelux ? We turned the question upside down, opened a debate in Congress and asked our citizens. So, I’m going to explain why we absolutely wanted a war, before talking about the alliance and the overall state of the war.

Why a War ?
To have a look at the last war France had, we have to go back in December 2013. It’s been 3 months where France fully helped (at least with all our means)the alliance. Players were slowly dying of boredom, I see them leaving day after day, in the surrounding inactivity settled in eFrance. Play to e-Sim has lost all sense. Comes the Babyboom. Our Babies need a war to enjoy the game and be able to discover it. A war was then more and more necessary in order to develop our community.

The HQ.
The HQ and the bosses of the alliance, I harassed them for weeks while explaining why we needed a war to redynamise our players so that babies could enjoy this part of the game. What I asked them exactly, was help in cas we were attacked by J4F, or they backed up our ennemies. They always refused. They have a lot of other battles to manage and cannot allow themselves to start an useless war. I could explain that France would become stronger thanks to that kind of war as much as I wanted, they didn’t want to lose French damages: 15 to 30 Millions/day (which is rather a ridiculous amount) The choice had been made. It would be Benelux. I reported it several times the GS (head of The Federation) and the SC (head of NT4F) that we would, at our own risks, launch a war against Belgium and then Netherlands at the same time as the Babyboom. of course, they could not guarantee that other member would back us up.

The DoW against Belgium.
During the Babyboom, China has DoWed Turkey, putting our alliance in a position of weakness compered to J4F, battles being more and more numerous and our alliance being almost completely dominated. The decision was then difficult to take: launch a war or help our allies with the few damages we have, like we’re already doing for a long time. The dilemma is horrific. Fuck it ! We have to make our citizen play !
“Let’s fight for our freedom of playing !” I claimed in my article on the war. This sentence makes perfect sense, for it represents the whole opposition to any kind of attack from us, coming both from our ennemies and our allies.

The German opposition and war objectives.
Quite paradoxically, Germany has few citizens, yet has a big role in the alliance: the SC is german, german people are very active on the channel, then it’s with them that we had to negociate. The Netherlands are close friends to Germany. They already told me Germany would not help France, but after the DoW to Belgium, the German CP Maxxst made it clear: he wouldn’t let us attack NL. His plan would’ve been to take the 2 southern regions from NL, with the agreement of the other CP, to keep us from getting in Holland. The GS (head of The Federation accepted this opposition, for he didn’t want a war as well.
Germans often say “we’re friends since day 1”. Yes, you’re right, but is that a good reason enough to harm us ? No. Those who harm us are usually ennemies. With this decision, and the babyboom that stopped (I will talk about it farther), we lose 2 goals of this war, that were:
-make war to make babies stay,
-get Freisland-Frivoland, the High Grain from Netherlands.
This war was then only an entertainment, a training.

Yes, we were proposed to attack Hungary.
The HQ proposed several times to attack Hungary, and we always refused. We chose Benelux for we were still doubting our power, and the High Region made a real aim for our babies and our economy. We thus rejected the idea of an endless war with Hungary. With this decision, for the first time, we made our interests more important than the Alliance’s.

The Alliance.
The situation in NT4F became unbearable, our interests being totally different from the Alliance’s, We are always fighting and arguing against Germany, who doesn’t understant why we started this war against Belgium.
I did my best to satisfy the bosses. Ask the HQ: How many times did we argue and debate over the possibily of an attack ? How long did I wait for their agreement before launching an attacking. When you refuse systematically our interests, I have no other choice than putting them before those of the Alliance, forcing me to disobey, as I risk to seem egoistic and unplease some of them.
An alliance has to work in both directions. We constantly give, but never receive. Even worse, Germany plans to come and stop us. And I’m not even speaking about their permanent opposition.

What’s next ?
Those 3 months of inactivity used us and everything makes me think that it’s time to leave NT4F for several reasions, the first one being that our attack could create a permanent help from TT (alliance of Benelux) against The Federation, and it is absolutely not our goal. We won’t stop this war, because we need it to develop ourselves and achieve one of our real goal: taking the High Grain Friesland-Frivoland. Leaving would not have a big impact on The Federation, our help becoming too ridiculously low for a 300 citizens-country. I think this departure will will please everyone, and we could finally concentrate on our interests for some time, while helping our friends like Italy for instance, at waar against Hungary. I am ready to pay private MUs occasionaly. We would be more efficient in a short range of time.
We can also rely on friends as Spain and Portugal, who helped us against Belgium, since our interests meet theirs.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
