Once upon a time, when I used to be a cute buddy and although not convincing for many Brazilians that Ronaldo was my favorite player, but the only thing why I knew and liked Brazil was this sports i.e. Football. I always used to and still do support Brazil. Oh yes, you have no idea but most of your brats represent the heart of Pakistani football fans. And definitely, now I know more about Brazil, like it is the largest sugarcane producer of the world and the 5th most populous country followed by once again, your fans i.e. Pakistan

and that you speak Portuguese which is unfortunately too much difficult for us too handle : (
While my love for Brazilian footballers has already drifted me away from my topic, so let us quickly return on what shall be the topic of our discussion i.e. Congress Election in Brazil in Primera. At Primera, Brazil is the 19th most populous country with a population of as many as 240 citizens. It has 10 parties at the moment of which 2 parties have ZERO members, thus making only 8 parties in actual. Moreover only 5 parties are active in the country. These 5 active parties are listed below and their names are
1. PNR- Nova República -------------------------------- 33 Members
2. ABS - Associação Brasil Socialista ----------------- 23 Members
3. Partido Social Democrático ------------------------- 11 Members
4. Onda Verde Amarela --------------------------------- 09 Members
5. PUB - Partido da União Brasileira ------------------ 07 Members
However, despite PNR being the strongest party It was comprehensively beaten by ABS. Below are the analysis of each party by the order of their seats in the congress
ABS - Associação Brasil Socialista
Party Strength --------------------- 23 Members
Candidates Won ------------------ 8 (19 Votes)
Candidates lost -------------------- 3 (2 Vote)
Total Votes -------------------------- 21 Votes
Overall 21 votes were secured by ABS, which denotes that the party has a very high number of active members. Overall, 11 candidates contested for election of which 8 candidates received 19 votes to win most seats by any party. Moreover, one candidate received 10 votes which mean that rest of the 7 candidates received 9 votes. This shows a poor coordination on front of the party which could have secured all 11 seats. In fact with the strength of 21 votes it could have fetched 12 seats as well. We would like to advice ABS to work upon its coordination and will wish them good-luck. ABS shall also realize that such the escape was just a lucky coincidence and a 33 member PNR can come to them anytime with a heavy competition. It shall be noted that ABS holds three key players of the country whose names are
Nicolai ,
Toxina and
Aline Samy
PNR- Nova República
Party Strength --------------------- 33 Members
Candidates Won ------------------ 05 (14 Votes)
Candidates lost -------------------- 03 (1 Vote)
Total Votes -------------------------- 15 Votes
The strongest party of the Brazil which includes 3rd best player of the country
yIssei and with 33 members is still not the most active party in terms of voter’s bank of 15. The party secured 5 seats out of 8, still below than average. With the vote bank of 15, we believe that 6 to 8 seats would have been a very fair deal; however, once again, a poor coordination seems to be the weakest link of the chain. Moreover, with 33 people on board, the party shall work on refreshing old members to once again take serious interest in the country politics, even with 3 to 4 more extra votes plus a little bit of coordination, can ensure the party to secure maximum votes from the country. In the meantime, the party shall also get rid of inactive members to get a real picture of their own party and their position. This will help them to strategize their options in the future.
Partido Social Democrático
Party Strength --------------------- 11 Members
Candidates Won ------------------ 03 (6 Votes)
Candidates lost -------------------- 00 (0 Vote)
Total Votes -------------------------- 06 Votes
Now the two strongest parties shall learn from this party; learn what coordination can do. Planning is never a waste of time. Although it can be argued that with the vote bank of six people only, coordination isn’t as difficult as it can be for the larger parties, yet one cannot underestimate the perfect planning of the party. Not only did they secure all three seats, but the efforts were very well coordinated as can be seen by the stats above. However, the party is not free of fallacies either and they really need to work upon its expansion. Moreover, it is also concerning for the party that it cannot maintain an active setup within the party although the number of members is not so large. With 11 members in the party, only six seem to be active while the rest need to show their role and play an active role for the party.
Onda Verde Amarela
Party Strength --------------------- 09 Members
Candidates Won ------------------ 02 (09 Votes)
Candidates lost -------------------- 00 (0 Vote)
Total Votes -------------------------- 09 Votes
Once again, it seems that the Brazilian trend of ‘bad coordination’ is as consistent as their ‘winning ratio at football game’ :p .. Now 09 votes could have easily fetched them 4 to 05 seats, yet their lack of coordination earned them a loss instead of profit. Moreover, the party had more voters than the party that was discussed above yet it failed to capitalize on its potential. However, one cannot deny the fact that this is the most active party of the country where 9 out of 9 people turned out to cast their votes and it also includes the 2 best players of the country
Zeifer and
BrucePD . Such parties can not only expand easily but can give serious challenge to larger parties if it is to coordinate among itself.
PUB - Partido da União Brasileira
Party Strength --------------------- 07 Members
Candidates Won ------------------ 02 (10 Votes)
Candidates lost -------------------- 00 (0 Vote)
Total Votes -------------------------- 10 Votes
It is evident from the stats above that by the time we collected the stats, some people already left the party to join others. It means that the party is contracting instead of expanding which is a concern in itself. However, the remaining members should realize that the party is not that weak. With 7 votes still at hand, it can earn 4 seats. If the party can somehow attract old members then it can stretch its bank to 5 to 6 candidates. At the moment the party has
Kaizen who is the 5th best player of the country
Overall, Coordination seems to be the most important issue in the Brazilian politics. It shall be highlighted that Partido Social was the only party that showed signs of good coordination. Collectively, 26 candidates stood for the election of which best 20 were selected. Since, 61 people casted vote, an average of 3 vote per candidate could have earned them the seat. However, a poor coordination has helped candidates including those who earned single vote to win this time but it seems unlikely scenario next time so EVERYONE, BEWARE and WATCH OUT! Also watchout for
irontor who is without a party at the moment and will be approaches by many.
It shall be noted that the views are all as an outsider. Kindly
