As I usually say at least once during each election, please vote for someone else.
Two clickers that just recognize my name are enough to virtually guarantee me a spot and, even if they didn't come through for me... no harm done, you know?
So, rather than writing an article promising all the things I'm going to do or, more like me, just not write an article at all...
Why don't you consider voting for one of these people?
smiliedawg is a new and very active player that's been doing a lot in the economic side of the game. He thinks I'm a pretentious jerk and he's probably right, but I'd like to see him get in this time. I am willing to bet we'll get in some pretty serious econ arguments, but that's just how I say 'Hello'.
nuevokid used to be in congress almost every term. I think he got into Secura but he's back now and has been in charge of our beloved Rangers since my last term as President. I always thought he was kind of a dumbass, to be honest, but I have come to see that he has either grown or was maybe just putting on an actor maybe I'm just a pretentious jerk. Either way, I think he's worth voting for.
ppdanny has been playing a long time, another citizen that went low-activity and spent some time on Secura. He's been doing a lot of work in the DoD lately and he's just a real sweetheart. You should definitely vote for him.
Eclipse has been running as a National Moe Front candidate for a long time and I've been voting for him for a long time, but he never seems to make the cut. I literally know nothing about him (or her?), but you never know. That said, if you're reading this Eclipse, I've just vouched for you. If you get in the circus, you better preform!
brethern3 didn't make the cut last term, so couldn't represent as a voting member of Congress. However, the Congressional by-laws did allow him to be elected as Speaker of the House and he was and served admirably. You should thank him by sending him a vote, or two if you're running multi accounts.
dman326 is a long time... well, acquaintance of mine, I guess. He was in my brigade in the USAF all those years ago on The Game That Shall Not Be Mentioned. He also used to be pretty active in-game but I haven't seen him around much lately, so when I saw his name on the list I was pretty happy.
Andy Dufresne I *would* vouch for, but he's not in a Top 5 Party so... not real sure why he's running? Now, if he were to leave and join a Top 5 Party, like National Moe Front (for a randomly selected example, I am in no way dropping the name just because I founded it or anything), he would be a great choice. He could also leave and join his usual party once the elections were over.
88348 is running again. He is pretty hit and miss, in terms of making it into Congress, which is unfortunate because he's a very important player from that other game. I can't say who he is, because...

Precedex is a immigrant from Malaysia, having come here to get some personal space and relax a bit from the pressures of public life leading and managing an entire nation virtually by himself, which is a stress I can really relate to. He's close friend of Princess Liberty. He's also been helping me manage GFI, lately, which is really nice of him. Despite being an immigrant, he's a very dedicated player and I trust him implicitly. Vote for him.

You've probably seen people with other ones, he made those himself and I don't have a direct link to the images. But, if you'd like to represent the Stars and Stripes, you can let either of us know and we'll be happy to make one for you. We have insignia's available for most of our major MU's and, if we don't have one for your MU... well, that's a problem we'd be happy to solve, too. ^_^

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
