Rules, Guidelines, and Regulations
A. ELIGIBILITY
To be able to participate at the ePH Economic Summit, you must:
1) be a REAL LIFE FILIPINO.
2) have a registered nickname ready to be used at IRC (Internet Relay Chat) (your registered nickname in IRC must be the same as the IGN (in-game name) you use in e-Sim).
B. TIME AND VENUE
1) The ePH Economic Summit will be held on this IRC channel: #EcoSummit.ph
2) The ePH Economic Summit will be held on December 20 (Day 837) at around 8 PM Philippine Time (13:00 e-Sim TIme).
C. ENTRY
1) Persons
The following individuals and groups are REQUIRED to attend the summit:
- Country President
- Secretary of Department of Trade and Industry
- Secretary of Department of Finance
- Congress Members
- Members of the ePhilippine Economic Council (PEC)
The following individuals and groups are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED, if not required, to attend the summit:
- Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Stock Companies
- Staff Members of Stock Companies
- Local Businessmen
Ordinary ePH citizens are also welcome to attend the summit.
2) Processes and Restrictions
- Due to the alleged plans of sabotage, the IRC channel, #EcoSummit.ph, will now require a password in order for someone to enter.
- Due to resource limits, the event can only accommodate 200 persons only. Because of this situation, the event will implement the FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS rule.
- One must have his IRC nickname (must be same as IGN (in-game name)) registered in order to get access.
3) Password
To be able to get the password for the summit, follow these steps:
a. Subsribe to the newspaper (upper right blue-ish button)
b. Vote the article (blue-ish button next to the title of the article)
c. Look for me (edg19) in IRC channel of ePH (#e-sim.ph) and PM me.
Any other form of communication aside from the one mentioned earlier will not be entertained.
4) Status
The following persons will have the following statuses once entered the IRC channel:
OWNER: Country President, Sec. of DTI, Sec. of DoF
ADMIN: Congress Members, ePhilippine Economic Council (PEC) President, National Union of Journalists of ePhilippines (NUJeP) President
OP: Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Stock Companies (SC), Members of PEC and NUJeP
HALFOP: SC Staff Members
VOICED: Other distinguished guests
MEMBERS: others
D. INSIDE THE SUMMIT
1) The Economic Summit will start at around 8 PM unless otherwise stated by the Country President, Sec. of DTI, or Sec. of DoF.
2) The Economic Summit delegates must enter the IRC channel at least 30 minutes before the time in order to avoid delays as much as possible.
3) One must be in his/her utmost behavior once entered. Any display of misbehavior will be kicked out of the summit.
4) Anyone who posts any form of spamming, either on- or off-topic will be subjected to be kicked out and/or be banned of the summit.
5) Any form of cursing or degrading other's status will be given proper sanctions with respect to the intensity of the words used.
E. TOPICS
1) The summit will mainly focus on the following matters:
- The Monetary Market's new exchange rate
- Adjustments on the minimum wages
- Prices ranges of products being sold at ePH
- Current situations and problems of the present ePH economy
2) Any additional things to be talked about may be brought out by any delegate in the summit after all the main topics have been discussed.
3) Everyone is highly encouraged to speak out their concerns and/or suggestions after the main topics have been discussed.
4) Any form of inquiry, comment, or suggestion said after the end of the summit will not be entertained for you have given time to do so before the event ends.
F. AFTER THE SUMMIT
Once the summit is over, a communication log about the event will be posted for public viewing as soon as possible before the end of the year.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
