J'écris ce billet, car entre deux projections de vitriol dues à la crise politique que la France traverse depuis maintenant un mois, je ne peux m'empêcher d'entendre de nombreux appels à l'action : "On s'ennuie" "Il faut envahir la Belgique" "Valen trouve-nous une guerre!" "Il vaut mieux échouer et se faire envahir que de stagner".....
On ne peut pas dire que la France est militairement inactive. Les militaires Français, sans parler des membres des MU privées, combattent aux quatre coins du globe (que les géomètres puristes passent leur chemin). Mais ce n'est pas semble-t-il ce que souhaitent ces français en quête d'action (FEQA). Ils veulent un conflit frontal, héroïque, sanglant contre...contre...c'est là que réside le problème. Contre qui? La France est entourée d'amis, vive nous! Les espagnols sont nos potes. Les italiens aussi. Les allemands...ah ben il n'y a plus d'allemands, j'y reviendrai. La Belgique n'est pas une cible si tentante que ça. Nous avons enterré la hache de guerre avec l'Angleterre. Mais mon dieu, qui allons-nous donc attaquer?
Le gouvernement Valen a fait le choix, tout en ménageant certaines susceptibilités froissées, de rester au sein de l'alliance WPMW dont nous nous....pardon? C'est qui WPMW? Hé bien euh...Attendez que je regarde ma liste, j'ai oublié aussi. Non, je vais résumer : WPMW, c'est une alliance en lambeaux qui subit dans l'indifférence générale les assauts de pays puissants et bien organisés, comme la Pologne qui s'est récemment recyclée dans l'élevage de bébés en batterie. Il n'y a plus d'Allemagne, remplacée par le Saint Empire Romain Italique. Il n'y a plus d'Ukraine. La Lituanie, la Slovénie, l'Iran se font hacher menu. Et les français, convaincus d'être au pays des bisounours, s'ennuient entre deux impeachments....
Alors je vais proposer ma réponse aux FEQAs. Nous sommes paraît-il en sécurité (peut-être...pour l'instant...au vrai, j'en doute fort), alors profitons-en pour aller livrer ces combats épiques qui nous manquent tant sur les plaines d'Ukraine et dans les montagnes d'Iran. Faisons de la libération de nos alliés une cause nationale. Combattons pour reprendre Kiev comme nous le ferions pour reprendre Paris, car n'est-ce pas ce que nous attendrions d'eux si nous-même étions occupés?
Ou devrais-je dire *quand* le nom "France" apparaîtra sur la check-list de DoW et consorts et que nous *serons* occupés?

In between two impeachments or civil wars, I hear French people saying "better vanquished than stagnant" "president Valen, find us a war" "we should invade this or that country" and so on. They are bored and want action. It's not that France isn't doing anything, but they want something bloody, direct, epic. Problem is : we are surrounded by friendly countries and countries we have a truce with. So, they wonder: who should we attack?
I remind them that France chose to remain in the WPMW alliance, while most don't even know what WPMW is and which countries it includes, let alone what's happening there. I remind them that our allies are occupied, like Germany and Ukraine, or collapsing like Slovenia, Iran or Lithuania.
That's where their epic, bloody war is. In the Ukranian plains or Iranian mountains. We should make of liberating Kiev or Teheran a national cause as important as liberating Paris, as we wish that Ukranians or Iranians would do if we were the occupied nation. If for no other reason, at least because, really, we aren't safe, and soon enough France will be next name on the check-list of DoW and its croonies.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
