按照相对论，宇宙中最快的速度是光速，如果在宇宙中发生了事件，它将以最快为光速的速度来进行传播，而宇宙是近乎无尽广大的，如果按光速传播的话，如果我们能看到的光锥不够远，那么我们或许要与许许多多重要的信息擦肩而过。
用现实的事情类比一个例子，比如人的视力大约能看1公里远，如果有一颗导弹向一个人飞来，当那个人看到的时候，他已经没有足够的反应时间来逃出爆炸范围。所以类比来说光锥就是人的视力，而当事件（导弹接近）已经进入光锥的时候，人已经没有能力逃脱，所以这是所谓的命运。
也就是说，光锥之外的事情是不可知的，是不可被预知，是混沌的。而光锥之内的事情是已知的，是已经发生的，虽然事件可能尚未对我们产生影响，但却已经发生，也就是命运。
2011年利比亚爆发内战，各国在利人员乱成一团。中国在当时一共也有四万多名技术人员、工程师、商务人员、工人、商人以及政府公务员在利比亚。可是在绝大多数国家的公司营地和项目部被民主派武装抢劫一空的情况下，却没有中方人员受伤或者死亡。原来中国人的面孔已经成为了不能欺负的天然通行证。在硬实力日渐强大的中国政府庇护下，中国人在离境时享受到了诸多照顾。比如凡是在混乱中丢失了护照或者护照被抢的中国人民，都可以凭借使馆打印的一张A4（有中国大使馆印章就行）来当做护照使用，甚至是复印的也可以，只要自己粘上一张2寸头像照片就行了，只要是个中国面孔的人，手持这张打印纸机场、港口优先出入境畅通无阻。而其他国家的和地区比如英国、土耳其、加拿大、印度这些国家的人只能挤在一起慢慢排队等候离境，因此在这期间有不少台湾地区的人丢掉自己的护照，选择凭借中国人的面孔用那张盖有中国大使馆印章的A4纸离境利比亚。
在紧要关头护照上的免签字样没有发挥任何力量，只有中国在亚丁湾执行任务的“徐州”号导弹护卫舰发挥了它的力量，只有中国大陆日益强盛的军力和国力发挥了它的力量，只有国大陆在利比亚的大使馆和党支部发挥了它的力量。正是这些力量合在一起，才形成了一面坚强的后盾和无形的屏障庇护着它的人民。因此你所能安生立命之处，必是你的国家政府军力所能覆盖之处。光锥之内是命运，射程之内是尊严

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
