In diesem Kapitel will ich mich mit dem Thema Gold, Währungen & wie man etwas verdient beschäftigen.
In eSim gibt es 2 wichtige Währungsformen: Länderwährungen(englisch Country Currencies - CC) und Gold.
Während ihr mit der Landeswährung (z.B. DEM
) auf dem lokalen Produktmarkt einkaufen könnt, und ihr meist auch euren Lohn in Ladeswährung erhaltet, benötigt man Gold für vieles anderes.
Doch zuerst einmal: Wie komme ich daran?
An Landeswährungen kommt man eigentlich nur auf 2 Wegen: entweder man kauft welche auf dem Geldmarkt (Monetary Market - MM), oder verdient sie als Lohn. Natürlich erhaltet ihr auch Lokalwährung, wenn ihr Produkte auf dem örtlichen Markt verkauft. An Gold kommt ihr dementsprechend, wenn ihr Lokalwährung auf dem Geldmarkt verkauft. Das ist aber nicht der einzigste Weg, um an Gold zu kommen. Ein weiterer Weg, um an Gold zu kommen, sind Medaillen. Für jede Medaille gibt es 5 Gold - und auch wenn ihr um ein Level aufsteigt, gibt es 5 Gold - dies allerdings erst ab Level 7. Medaillen gibt es für ganz unterschiedliche Sachen, an manche kommt man relativ einfach, andere wiederrum sind schwieriger zu erlangen.
Ausserdem kann man über die Beteiligung an Share Companys Gold bekommen - auf dieses Thema werde ich aber erstmal nicht eingehen.
Welche Medaillen gibt es?
Wie schon erwähnt, gibt es ganz unterschiedliche Medaillen, für jede erhält man zusätzlich 5 Gold.
Am einfachsten kommt man an die "Super-Soldier" und die "Hard-Worker" Medaille.
Eine "Super-Soldier" Medaille erhält man immer nach 30 Trainingseinheiten.
Für eine "Hard-Worker" Medaille muss man 30 Mal am Stück arbeiten. Lässt man einen Tag aus, fängt man da also wieder von vorne an.
Dann gibt es die Medaillen aus dem Politik-Bereich. Eine "Congress Medal" erhält man, wenn man in den Kongress gewählt wird.
Eine "President Medal" bekommt man dementsprechend, wenn man Präsident eines Landes wird.
Ausserdem gibt es noch Medaillen aus dem sozialen Bereich. So erhält man jedesmal eine "Media Mogul" Medaille, wenn man mit seiner Zeitung 100 Abonenten mehr hat - also für 100 die erste, für 200 die zweite usw.
Die "Society Builder Medal" bekommt man, wenn man es geschafft hat, 10 Spieler einzuladen, die Level 7 erreicht haben.
Dann gibt es die Kampfmedaillen: Eine "Battle Hero" Medaille bekommt man, wenn man in einer Gefechtsrunde auf einer Seite den meisten Schaden gemacht hat.
Die "Resistance Hero" Medaille bekommt man, wenn man einen erfolgreichen Widerstandskampf gestartet hat.
Zum Abschluss gibt es noch zwei besondere Medaillen, beide gibt es nur unter besonderen Umständen. Eine "Tester Medal" bekommt man, wenn man einen Bug gemeldet hat, allerdings nicht immer. (Die genauen Kriterien sind nicht bekannt)
Eine "Tournament Medal" bekommt man, wenn man in einem Turnier-Event mindestens 30 Hits gemacht hat und das Gefecht am Ende gewonnen hat.
Wofür braucht man Gold?
Gold benötigt man für viele Dinge. Wenn man zum Beispiel in ein fremdes Land zieht und Lokalwährung braucht, kann diese nur mit Gold einkaufen. Ausserdem benötigt man Gold für viele Spieltechnische Dinge - wenn man zum Beispiel eine Zeitung gründen will, muss man 2 Gold zahlen. Wenn man eine Partei oder eine Firma gründen will, muss man sogar 20 Gold dafür zahlen. Später, wenn man eine Firma upgraden will oder eine Share Company bzw Military Unit gründen will, sind die Kosten sogar noch höher.
Auch für Auktionen von Equipment benötigt man Gold - oder kann welches bekommen, wenn man selber ein Teil versteigert.
Und zuletzt benötigt man Gold, wenn man Produkte nicht über den lokalen Markt, sondern direkt von anderen Spielern kauft - diese nehmen meist nur Gold als Bezahlung. Über all diese Themen werde ich vielleicht später einmal schreiben.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
