No, this is not a troll, this is a dead serious candidature of me running for CP of Canada. I will still be playing secura fully, I just have even more time on my hands now that it's summer and I want to take on a gigantic new challenge. Taking Canada back up to its glory days from 2012!
I have gained significant economical, diplomatic, and militaristic experience in my days playing secura. I come back to you from my 6 months stint as Canadian CP even more experienced and dedicated than I've ever been here.
As some of you may have noted, I dropped down 10M dmg to help a round in France the other day. I may not have been very active, but I still care deeply for Canada and our allies and that will only increase tenfold over the next month.
If I'm not elected, I will likely go back to being inactive because I'm not interested in coming back only to play a small secondary role that I will quickly get bored of. I want to thrust Canada up in the air with my enthusiasm, fresh objectives and cool incentives!
So without further ado, the following is my platform.
Our economy is stale. We have a great high grain, but we don't come close to utilizing its full potential. The first issue is our taxes. Our income tax is too high and combined with our small workforce, makes it a very unattractive place for foreign investors to run companies. I would lower our income tax from 10 to 5 across the board.
We don't have a big enough citizen base to keep up a protectionist tax system. I would lower the current staggered import taxes to 5% across the board. This will allow fresh new sellers to come in and will make prices more competitive than they are now, thus making our products cheaper for Canadians and foreigners to purchase. Once we become a more attractive market to players worldwide, money flow will increase, and with it the tax flow.
VATs would be set to 0.
I intend to work with USA as best as possible to obtain peace. This may prove to be impossible, but all efforts will be made! I will bring Canada into a new expansionary direction to activate our job and product markets, because a war can be highly profitable. Not only can it bring in more gold to our org, but it will bring excitement and passion to our otherwise dead nation.
I will revive a strikes channel on irc, supplying all fighters with full food, gifts and weapons rations for t-2 sniping and a place to hang out and talk shop! Day by day I will work my ass off to bring back excitement to this country and this game to each of you 1 by 1. We will rise back up to our glory days of the past where we would have a dozen or so ppl fighting every t-2.
Our position will not change internationally. Our best friends are Sweden, France, and Mexico among many others. New friendships will be forged, old ones that have been forgotten will be restored.
As for my cabinet, all positions are opened, but I won't be taking any freeloaders. I'll be hand-picking them myself, and if you don't do a good job, you're out. All work will be fun, I promise!
Look at my past track record in 2012 and you will realize that by voting me in, you will be voting for success, fun, and excitement!

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
