As I wrote in my latest article, I joined the Communist Pary of Ireland. The reasons are in that article, you might want to consider them. But as for now I want to introduce you to the programme of the communist movement.
- A united Ireland. I think I don't have to go into details about why unity is important for a small country such as Ireland. When I say unity I don't necesserily mean everyone being in one movement, but having the same goals for every political power. We are ready to co-operate with everyone who wants to do for the good of Ireland.
- An active Ireland. The best way to grow bigger and flourish is to create an active community which is temptating for disappointed players of other countries and new players too. Not to mention this game is only worth playing in a good community. A good community requires activity.
- A strong Ireland. We should show the world and our friends that we are worthy allies and formidable enemies. This requires active and well supplied Military Units who utilize every possibility the game gives to deal higher damage.
- A rich Ireland. History suggests that from time to time we have to defend our homeland. To defend them succesfully we need to have money and reserves.
How do we want to achieve our goals?
- Unity.
In our point of view Ireland needs continuity. All governments should inform their successors about whatever is going on. And not just their successors. We expect a start-term programme from our presidential candidates which include:
- how he/she would like to improve our economy,
- how he/she would like to strengthen our military,
- what plans he/she has to raise our activity,
- what plans he/she has about Irelandia's international affairs,
- any other special content he/she would like to add.
If new candidates cannot show new ideas and the reigning president does his/her job properly, the Communist Party of Ireland will always support the reigning president or, if he/she decides to step down the person he/she names as desired successor. To be a president you need to have creativity and commitment, new thoughts, bring fresh blood. If you can't, why would we want you?
Also we expect weekly summaries from our Presidents so everyone in Irelandia knows what's happening and why. These summaries should contain:
- reports from alliance meetings,
- reports about what happened in our economy,
- reports about how our military is doing,
- reports about social events,
- any other special content he/she would like to add.
We expect every committed Irish political power and person to co-operate with the reigning president, to form constructive critics about his/her work. As an example, the communist movement is ready to help any government with all our experience and everything else we have..
To improve our activity and help people getting to know how Ireland works the Communist Party of Ireland has a few ideas. We think that helping people in learning how to use chat is important since most of the community events and decision-making takes place on IRC. We will soon publish a guide so everyone can learn how to come on to chat, how to register their nicks and which channels worth visiting.
To promote IRC-usage we propose the government to use incentives like more supplies to those who take their time and visit IRC and ask for supplies there.
We think that the monthly State Lottery is a very good idea but is a rare event, so soon the Communist Party of Ireland will have its own lottery started to make these events a bit more often.
We think of other games too, such as 'Who deals the most damage?'. This game would take the daily damage sIrish citizens deal and, using the dmg formula, take out the strength and rank factors, leaving luck and equipment being the decisive factors. Another game would be 'Help our allies!' in which those who dealt the most damage fighting for our allies could win valuable prizes.
Irelandia has a rich heritage from the LukeZo regime which means that we have a huge elite Military Unit with a great company-park, able to supply its members with enough weapons and food. But to increase our damage we think the supply-system should be restructured. All possible bonuses must be used and the +20% location bonus is now not utilized. The daily supplies should contain one or two tickets so our members can take advantage of this bonus too.
This and the said changes in the supply-system (reward for IRC activity) require active leadership so, if needed, we support changes in the management of the Military Units.
The government's primery goal is to improve our military might so investing in the National MUs is a must thus' we can give better supplies.
A new government role/duty would be the Equipment Purchaser. This is the activest guy of the actives, who can spend lots of time watching auctions and buying cheap and good equipment. This equipment would later serve the members of the National MUs so we can minimalize the damage loss and increase the damage we deal. Of course we won't supply our members with full Q5 equipment, but with cheap and good Q1-Q3 pieces.
There are harsh times when we have to take everything we have and defend our land. To win our battles we need this 'everything we have' to be as much as possible. We think that a National Home Defense Supply Fund should be created to serve as a last reserve in times of need. This Fund should be enough to provide our citizens for at least 3-5 days of supplies and should be one of the main destination of taxes until it's filled up.
Also the treasury should contain enough money to supply our allies and, if needed, hire mercenaries to fight for us. Everyone should know that Irelandia is a chewy bite.
Ireland Org must be present on the job market, providing our citizens with proper salaries, We have good companies which lie dead at this moment. Citizens could work for both supplies and money, it's all up to them. Why don't we use what we already have to gain even more?

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
