Dear Ireland!

We are a member of the Aleutian Pact. A pact that is the third, smallest alliance, both by the number of membering countries, citizens, strength and damage. And now we have this conflict with Spain who has always been a close friend of TAP and Ireland. Before analysing it, let's see how Ireland ranks in the world.

There are 50 countries in the s-world, let's see our rankings:

- Population:

Ireland is ranked 46th out of 50 having 65 active members, giving 0.54% of the world's population.

- Strength:

Ireland is ranked 39th out of 50 having 109541 strength points in overall, giving 0.64% of the world's overall strength.

- Total damage:

Ireland is ranked 40th out of 50 having dealt 3066,77 million damage in overall, giving 0.67% of the total global damage.

These numbers show that our power is basically non-existent. We can make our enemies sweat a bit but our resistance can't last too long, so it is obvious that we a, need to stay neutral and stay out of every ongoing conflicts or b, find some strong allies with whom we can fight for each other and protect each other. We tried the a, version, it didn't work. Now we are in The Aleutian Pact, the weakest alliance in the s-world but it's still strong enough to protect us.

Let's see where we stand in The Aleutian Pact.

We are a minor power in TAP too, but this is due to our small population. Here's a chart about the per capita stats.

*Day569DMG column shows how the countries' per capita damage relate to the alliance's per capita damage on day 569 - e.g. the Irish damage per capita is 1.75 times bigger than the alliance's per capita damage

You can see that Ireland is ranked No. 1 in every statistics except productivity. This shows that our population is very old, we don't have too many newcomers. But this also means that our experienced warriors can be quite useful if they are mobile enough to travel throughout the world.

What I want to say with these numbers is that Ireland's power is small (yet average) in her alliance and basically non-existent in the world, so we need our allies and friends. We have to have mutual respect towards each other, so I ask every Irish citizen to avoid participating in any battle against any ally or friend of us, because being trustworthy is core to show that we are a good ally. And being a good ally is very important for a small country, else nobody wants to save our ass whenever we need them in exchange for unpredictable damage.

Today this means, that when two big and friendly countries, the USA and Spain is fighting each other, Ireland should stay out of this conflict. Also there is an ongoing war between Brazil, member of TAP and Portugal, an ally of Ireland. Staying out of it is recommended, but fighting against Brazil must be forbidden by the government. We have the chance to fight elsewhere, like in France and try to help the Galls, we don't have to get involved in these conflicts.

USA-Spain war
There are two versions to this USA-Spain story, they don't really match in the details.I cannot do justice between them and I don't want to hurt any feelings by telling the story wrong so I'm not publishing them in this article. If you are interested, send me a letter and I'll tell you in person. The moral for Ireland is above: stay out of it.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
