Hello dear readers ! My name is Mellinedhel. I was born about 40 days ago and I am a newly-elected French Congressman, member of the RPF party (French Popular Rally).
International relations are a very complex field which has to be explained to all e-sim players, as it is one of the fields that makes this game so deep and fascinating. Furthermore some upheaval recently shook our world up, as far as international relations are concerned. So I will try to explain to you what the 3 main alliances of e-sim are :
G7 alliance

France has been very close to this alliance until recently (a radical change of French foreign policy being engaged by our last CP Slyze, who openly declares himself anti-G7).
This alliance is leaded by the 2 mightiest countries of e-sim, Poland and Lithuania. Other countries are also part of it:
- Bulgaria
- Indonesia
- Italy
- Romania
- Turkey.
There are also a bunch of countries which are not explicitly part of the alliance, though they are very close :
- Chile (TO by Poles)
- China
- South Korea
- Estonia
- Hungary
- India
- Macedonia
- Pakistan
- Switzerland (TO by Lithuania).
This alliance tends to have a hegemonic position over the world, as Poland and Lithuania stand as THE superpowers of e-sim. Indeed, G7 countries occupy many countries (partly or completely) : Australia, the 3 Scandinavian countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland), Latvia, Russia, Ukraine, the UK and Germany. Although, many countries oppose this alliance and the resistance is getting organized...
"Anti-G7" alliances
The Phoenix alliance

This alliance is regrouped around a common hostility of its members to G7, regarded as too powerful, too dominating, too imperialistic. These countries, in order to prevent the G7 alliance to "kill the game" with their unrelenting territorial expansionism, fight G7 side by side on every front. Phoenix members are :
- Canada
- Croatia
- the Czech Republic
- Finland
- Germany
- Greece
- Iran
- Israel
- Latvia
- Mexico
- Peru
- Portugal
- Russia
- Serbia
- Slovenia
- Spain
- Sweden
This alliance may gather a great number of countries, but many are sparsely populated or controled by foreign countries and several are partly or completely occupied. Thus we can doubt of the efficiency of such an alliance, as the more members an alliance has, the weaker its cohesion is. Note also that sometimes its conquest objectives may seem arguable for some people (eg. Liberating Gotaland...).
The Aleutian Pact

This alliance recently took form, trying to offer an alternative to the G7/anti-G7 dichotomy. The Aleutian Pact reunites 5 countries of modest size concerned with their political autonomy :
- the USA
- Ireland
- the Netherlands
- Belgium
- Argentina
Australia and France are getting closer to this alliance but have not officially joined it.
Let's add that some people think the Aleutian Pact is some kind of "third way" : do not they forget that it has been created after another declaration of war from Poland against the USA ; its essence may rather be anti-G7.

Las relaciones internacionales son un campo muy complejo que es conveniente explicar a todos los jugadores de e-sim, ya que es uno de los campos principales que devuelven el juego tan variado y profundo. Además recientemente nuestro mundo está viviendo algunos trastornos con respecto a las relaciones internacionales. Entonces voy a intentar explicar cuales son las 3 alianzas principales de e-sim :
La alianza G7

Francia ha sido muy cercana de cuya alianza hasta hace poco (nuestro presidente actual Slyze, explícitamente contra G7, puso en marcha un cambio radical de la política extranjera sfrancesa). Está dirigida por los 2 países más poderosos del juego, Polonia y Lituania.
Se compone también de :
- Bulgaria
- Indonesia
- Italia
- Rumanía
- Turquía.
Algunos países no forman parte de manera clara de la alianza, pero sin embargo son cercanos de ella :
- Chile (controlado por Polacos)

Esta alianza tiende a tener una posición de hegemonía sobre el mundo, gracias a las 2 superpotencias líderes que son Polonia y Lituania. En efecto, G7 ocupa numerosos países (parcialmente o totalmente) : Australia, los tres países de Escandinavia (Noruega, Suecia, Finlandia), Letonia, Rusia, Ucrania, Gran Bretaña y Alemania. Sin embargo, muchos países se oponen enérgicamente a esta alianza y la resistencia está organizándose...
Los "anti-G7"
La alianza Phoenix

Esta alianza se reúne alrededor de la hostilidad común de sus miembros a la alianza G7, considerada como demasiado poderosa, dominante e imperialista. Sus países luchan juntos contra G7 en todos los campos de batalla para impedir la alianza G7 de “matar al juego” con su expansión territorial sin frenos. Phoenix reagrupa :

- Alemania
- Grecia
- Iran
- Israel
- Letonia

Aunque esta alianza reagrupe numerosos países, la mayor parte no es muy poblada o es controlada por países extranjeros. También algunos son ocupados parcialmente o totalmente. Entonces podemos dudar de la eficiencia de una tal alianza, y que cuando más miembros tiene, menos cohesión conserva. Por lo tanto algunos dicen que los objetivos de conquista de esta alianza a veces parecen cuestionables (liberación de Gotaland...).
El Pacto Aleutiano

Esta alianza recién formada intenta proponer una alternativa a la dicotomía G7/anti-G7. El Aleutian Pact (Pacto Aleutiano en español) reúne varios países de dimensión modesta preocupados por su autonomía :
- Estados Unidos
- Irlanda
- Holanda
- Bélgica
- Argentina
Australia et la Francia se han acercado mucho de la alianza sin integrarla de manera oficial. Un comentario sobre esta alianza que según ciertas personas puede ser una “tercera vía” : ha sido fundida después de una declaración de guerra de Polonia a EEUU ; su esencia parece ser más bien anti-G7.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
