Earlier this week I announced that I will be seeking the office of President of the United States. Since that article, we learned about a possible challenger. I am excited for the possibility of a competitive election for the first time in a few months, and I wish my opponent the best of luck.
Today, I would like to talk about who I am and where I would like to help take this country.
I began playing this type of game nearly 4 years ago, joining a similar game in February of 2009 under the name WahooBob. I served as an ambassador; commanded platoons in the National Guard, US Army, and the Airborne; hosted one of the longest-running podcasts with former presidents, future presidents, and a horse lover; held top advisory roles in the US, Australia, and New Zealand; and served several presidents as secretary of State and Media. In e-Sim, I have been playing for nearly one year. I have served six terms in Congress, host the only e-Sim weekly podcast, and have served as an advisor for a number of administrations. I list these positions not to brag, but to establish my experience and broad base of general knowledge.
On the international front, I have two major goals for next. The first is the defense of our nation. As president, I will do everything in my power to prevent the Polish and anyone else from invading our beloved homeland. My second goal, which I see as instrumental to the first, is securing a strong future for our fledgling alliance. The Aleutian Pact was formed less than two weeks ago in direct response to Poland’s attacks on Alaska. I want to use my experience to ensure that the alliance will have strong communication between members and translate that into the most effective damage possible.
My secondary goals internationally are to see some of our allies liberated from their oppressors. Russia and Australia come to mind quickly as viable targets, but I will be open to working with other leaders in our alliance and the advice of my cabinet.
Here at home, things are pretty good, but I believe we can always make them better. One thing I would like to do is provide more goods to our citizens by keeping HOW active more often. This will require some volunteers to run the program, but more importantly, it will need more funding. I will be working with the Treasury Department to find creative ways to bring in more gold without raising taxes on our citizens.
One trend I have been very happy to see recently is an uptick in media activity. I will be working to continue that trend. I will be asking my cabinet members to each write a few articles throughout the month to update the public on what they are doing and where volunteers can jump in to help us out. I will also be offering a prize every Friday for the best article written over the week.
On Monday, I will be releasing my full cabinet along with a quick description of what each Department will be focusing on. In the meantime, keep an eye on the battlefield. There are two resistance wars between Poland and Russia right now, which is very unusual, and there is bound to be some confusion. Jump into IRC before you fight to get the latest information on battle priorities. If you have any questions about what you read today, or my campaign in general, don’t hesitate to shoot me a message.
TL;DR:
- I have a ton of experience, so I know what I’m doing.
- I will defend America, strengthen our alliance, and liberate occupied allies.
- I will find ways to bring in non-tax revenue and develop a more active media.
- Check orders on IRC before you fight today.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
