This here newspaper motley (like the weird word? I used a thesaurus to find it
) is the bare bones of an idea I tried to initialize awhile ago to help boost America's slow media. Well the project was a complete flop, but I have come at it from a different angle now and have had much more success. The principle is still the same though: Publish a categorized list of US newspapers so that people can easily find new newspapers that they'll enjoy reading. Thus giving writers more of a reason to write, and livening up our media. Now our media is pretty active right now, but I still think that it is slow. Which is why I'm now doing this so please: Support Your Country's Writers!
1. Our first entry in this category is
Sivle who writes a lot of articles about international news. A very nice read for those trying to keep up with current events. One of Sivle 's most succesful articles is found here.
2. Next under this category is
met3_ , who usually writes opinionated articles on eUS. So If you're looking to read some fiery and possibly inspirational or agitating (depends on which side of the debate you're on) articles then look right here.
3. Third we have
Hawkaberi who writes a variety of articles but has started writing a weekly updated of all e-countries. This makes for an interesting read and is another suggested read for anyone that wants to keep up with international news. The article that describes this new series can be found here.
4. Our newest writer to be included in this edition is
Kara Thrace , who has only written 3 articles so far. All have been about e-US News and have been short and to the point (no walls of text from this one!) A nice short and patriotic read. One fine article can be found here.

Spike Spiegel , this article is a fine example. So you geeky among us look no further (this could be an insult, or it could be that there are a lot of "geeky" among us you decide).

ConquerorBiff , who generally writes about his business, but did write this interesting article on the new changes to the combat system.

Sir Hypnotoad writes a variety of articles usually with a comical spin. They make for a fun read and you can even learn things (I know, I know, but their fun to read anyway ) a prime example can be found here.
2. Second is
Lord Rahl who's articles generally have a comical side (either that or hi-*choking sounds* ehhem! ....should've chewed that more...). He has written multiple articles bragging about his lack of a life (I've seen weirder....somewhere...), the most successful of these can be found here.
3. And the moment you've all undoubtedly been waiting for! ME!
bouncer535 writes about almost anything, from news to politics to various opinions. But most of these articles are a poor attempt at comedy and have horrid grammar (wait a sec....I'm writing about myself ain't I?). One good example of bouncer535 's comical genius can be found here.
1. The only ony in this jumbled category is
EmmanueI Goldstein , who writes mostly about US politics and world events (and no I don't consider politics news so take that ever news station in the world!) as well as other topics. One nice example of a political article can be found here.
That does it for the first edition. Now I know that most of the people that I included are already well known, but this is just the first edition. I want to write more of these articles and reveal some hidden talent, a diamond in the rough if you will. I would appreciate any constructive comments on how to improve this motley. Also if you would like to be included please PM me. Finally these articles will only be published once I have enough people to fill an article.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
