Sword Art Online to znakomite 25-cio odcinkowe anime. Akcja dzieje się w roku 2020. Dziesięć tysięcy osób zostało uwięzionych przez administratora w grze VRMMORPG, pozwalających dzięki specjalnemu urządzeniu zanurzyć się w świecie fantastyki i odciąć wszystkie bodźce z zewnątrz. Śmierć w grze oznacza śmierć w rzeczywistości. Jedyną możliwością wyjścia z gry jest wejście na setne piętro gigantycznego zamku Aincrad, który jest światem gry i pokonanie głównego bossa.
Głównym bohaterem w anime jest Kirito, młody chłopak, preferujący samotną grę. Nie jest mu jednak dane Długo cieszyć się swobodną samotną grą. Poznaje Asunę, piękną szermierkę, której nie sposób odmówić przyjęcia do drużyny. Właśnie w ten sposób rozpoczyna się główny wątek, czyli romans tej dwójki.
Samo anime posiada wspaniałe sceny walk, którymi jednak nie jest przesadnie przesycone, dzięki czemu nie nudzi się po pierwszych 40 minutach. Wysoki realizm postaci, jak i fabuły umożliwia wczucie się w bohaterów, Anime doskonale przedstawia uczucia jakimi kierują się postacie.
Natomiast jeśli chodzi o wady, to największą jest zbytnie skupienie się fabuły na dwójce głównych bohaterów. Postacie poboczne zostały przedstawione szczątkowo, są jak by tylko marnym dodatkiem.
Podsumowując anime oceniam na bardzo dobre choć dość krótkie. Ogólna ocena 8.5/10.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
