Well, guys, I have to hand it to Canada, they certainly put up a fierce fight, and their allies carried the day for them. We certainly have to respect that, there's no bones about it. Let's break it down a little, and grade ourselves, shall we?
Congressional Response: F Seven freaking hours to pass a DoW? Really? Time is victory, folks, and seven hours is three and a half rounds that spelled the difference between a very different scenario today. Those that did not heed the alert should be ashamed of yourselves. Those that did, I salute you.
Military Response: A+ What is there to say? Even against some very good MUs, mercs and Canada's MUs and their allies, you guys hung in there and gave just as good as you got. 150 million damage in two days for us. That's a new record for our country.
There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of, even in defeat. We fought elements from Omerta, Profi Si, Grave Diggers Clan, Clutch, Pinguim Flu, Solution, and many others. (If I've forgotten you, I apologize, my memory isn't that great these days.)
Owen has PM'd me about peace discussions and I will sit down and talk to him. But for right now, the battle in Pacific Coast demands our attention and we will give it just that.
Let's Talk About This Neutrality Thing.
So, obviously, there's been a lot of propaganda being slung around from some key people. Bad blood about our decisions for the past two months, etc.
So let's get some straight talk and straight facts and I'll break down the fallacies bit by bit, and add some color commentary with the parts I agree with.
The USA has jumped into bed with anyone/everyone for the past two months.
No, I'm pretty sure I've consistently and constantly stated that the USA is a neutral country for the past two months. Anyone stating differently is either badly misinformed and/or just stirring up trouble. We don't "jump in bed" with anyone, unless they have something tangible to offer us, at which point we will offer them the same, reciprocally. Have we participated in battles that threatened our borders? Absolutely, and any other neutral country would have done the same. Anyone stating differently is a liar.
The USA used to be good friends with many of the same people we're fighting now.
This is true. We absolutely used to be good friends with Sweden and The UK. The rest? We've never EVER been close with, for the entirety of my time playing this game. So the real question boils down to why aren't we friends with Sweden or the UK anymore? The answer is simple. They chose to follow Poland and we refused to follow Poland at that time. Did we have a late invitation to the alliance? Yup. We did. We talked about it, entertained the idea, and it looked favorable due to the protection for Spain clause. Then Poland violated it before we even entered the alliance by setting their MUs on Spain anyway, at which point, we backed out. Nor do I feel we were wrong in doing so. Poland's trend IS to constantly change alliances and choose new allegiances, for whatever reason they choose to do so. We knew they would only be reliable for a time and then they'd move on. We were right, too.
The USA should be part of Anti-G7 and are spineless for not joining.
Oh? Where was all that tough talk when we spent six months fighting Poland and EVERY COUNTRY in this "anti-G7" mess metaphorically kissed Poland's feet for the scraps from their table? I don't think we're spineless. I think we're tired of the exact same crap. The only thing Anti-G7's so called friendship really has to offer us is simple. Wiped by Poland. The only thing we're continuously asked is if we can DoW Poland. USA PLEASE HALP US! USA PLEASE DO THIS! Yeah? I believe International Ranger gave you that opportunity and you guys failed, and we failed too. Einstein's definition of insanity is doing the exact same thing, over and over, expecting a different result each time. If anything, Anti-G7 is guilty of being more spineless than we allegedly are, because they followed Poland longer than they've fought them. So stop being hypocrites.
The USA thinks they're too good for allies.
No, I just think we don't do well in an alliance structure, we do well in a one on one basis, and your "alliance" has nothing but negatives to offer us, and all the propaganda in the world won't change that fact, and neither will US damage. Sure, there's a few elements here that apparently can't figure out that the USA can't beat Poland on its own, and apparently like not having a country, but hey. Can't beat the crazies, right?
The Last Word
So let's cut to the chase. We're constantly under pressure to do one thing or another, and let's be frank, we are in a favorable position geographically. I won't sell our country out to the anti-G7 element. We WILL stay the course for the remainder of my term. EVERYONE does EVERYTHING for a reason. It's that simple. Some will say that my decision is selfish, and some will say spineless, but let's break it down. We're not cowards, and the talking sock puppets claiming it are hypocrites who have no problem sacrificing OUR country for THEIR cause.
Yes, Canada's allies gave them a win. Against us...not Poland, not Lithuania. Us. A country of 400 citizens, purported to be a shell of its former self....but for 28 hours, do you know what I saw last night? The OLD USA. The "go down swinging" USA. The "screw these guys" USA. The country I loved in the old days and I still love today. Don't let the propaganda mess with your resolves. These countries simple want what's best for them, the same as we want what's best for us. At the end of the day, that's all that matters.
May your paths to success be short and fulfilling.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
