So how about them CP elections eh? Only a couple of days away now, and I’ve finally been able to candidate without getting a 404 or 503 thrown at me. This'll be my third time in the big chair if I am elected. So I suppose I’d best run through what I’m wanting to achieve and who I have chosen to do that for me. Warning, it’s a biggie...
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
This term, the MoFA is going to be a big, big focus for the UK. The person I have chosen to lead us through this time will be Archduchess Diablo I . A player with a massive backlog of experience in a range of countries will bring the right qualities to the role.
Recent problems have put a massive dent in our foreign relations that a panel beater with the world’s biggest hammer couldn’t remove. We need to start talking to our neighbours, allies and friends again to re-build those bridges as we never know when we’ll need to call on them.
Since the Ireland fracas I’ve been regularly talking to LukeZo and building up a good relation which I feel will benefit us greatly over the next few months. We need to continues this on I’m sure Diablo will be up to the job.
Ministry of Finance
law7441 will be continuing in his role as MoF. He provided a steady hand last term and successfully established the Government Loan Scheme. We had some things kick off a bit over the weekend with the proposal (and acceptance) of a new tax rate for importing iron. A proposal made by one citizen gathered steam and before we knew it we had set a new rate for the UK.
This offers us opportunity to witness how the lower rate will affect the UK iron market, from this we will adjust it yet again if need be.
Ministry of Defence
Recruitment. That is all. I’m going to be looking at all levels of the government MUs and pushing for more involvement of citizens who are not yet in an MU. Another aspect will be looking into production levels and upgrades if we need them within the companies, which will happen sooner rather than later.
One scheme I am looking at will be an incentive plan for UK MUs with UK members to follow UK orders. This has been implemented in other countries and I’ll be talking to my cabinet for ways of using this to our advantage in the UK.
I’m still in talks to discuss who will be my MoD next term, but anyone willing to offer help would be welcomed.
Ministry of Home Affairs
This will be maintained as always. Regular competitions will be kept up with a few extras thrown in for good measure. We are always running our mentor scheme and offering new players help and advice.
The MoHA is open! – This is your opportunity to get your hands on a role that I have ran for so long. Who wants to give it a go?
Border Agency
In recent times we have had CS accepted from applicants far too easily without us knowing where they came from, or who they even are. When we had the forums we had questions that an applicant must answer before being accepted. This will be continuing in game, with Jon873 being appointed to oversee them.
All congress must not accept CS without Jon giving them the green light first. As an incentive for this, all congress who don’t break the rules will receive a bonus at the end of term, those who do will be named, shamed and forfeit any bonus
Ministry of Work
This is a new ministry I want to establish based on an increase in citizens active and involved with the economy. I have offered BarnicleStinson the role as MoW. He will be involved with running the government companies. Trading stock to produce profit, making sure we always have jobs on the market at reasonable pay and investigating new areas for investment. With a dedicated citizen on the job I’m sure we can make this a success.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
